Ben is a very sweet pup. He has been a guest at the The Doggie Den for the last couple of days. He is a very well mannered pup. He'll be a great addition to someone's family.💞🐾

The Doggie Den will be taking a little weekend break on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27. 🐶🏡

That means there won't be any daycare or boarding those two days. Don't worry, the squirrels will still be on duty, the neighborhood rabbits will continue their patrols, and I'll be keeping watch to make sure everything stays in order.

If you need to schedule your pup before or after the closure, be sure to let "Z" know.

Despite those very convincing "we've never had a treat in our lives" faces, Chester and Flash really were on their best behavior. Truth be told, so was every one of our holiday guests!

Since Julia (Bella's human from Julia's Gluten-Free Goodness) was stopping by yesterday to deliver "Z's" onion buns, "T" couldn't resist placing an order for some homemade dog biscuits, too!

They received two paws up from the official Doggie Den taste-testers. 🐕🐶🐩😋

From the looks on those faces, I'd say they're already wondering if seconds are included with their holiday stay! 🐾

Well, well, well... look who checked into The Doggie Den for the holiday weekend! It's my old pals Chester and Flash! 🐾

Now, I know what you're looking at. Those aren't just any cupcakes🧁. Those treats came straight from Julia's Gluten-Free Goodness.

Do Chester and Flash have their eyes on dessert? You bet they do! Those laser-focused stares aren't saying, "We're being good." They're saying, "One tiny drop of frosting accidentally falls... and it's ours!"

But "T" knows these two all too well. She's already putting those cupcakes into the CLOSED microwave for safekeeping until the humans are ready for dessert.

The humans think the cupcakes are secure... the dogs will spend the next hour conducting surveillance on the microwave door.

Happy holiday stay, Chester and Flash! Keep "T" on her toes... but maybe leave just a little frosting for the humans.
