Meet the groomer:
Hello everyone! My name is Katelyn Urie, and I am the new face that many of you have recently seen at the formerly known Pup Cut in Morrill!
While I did just move here from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, many of you may already know me from when I worked at the beloved Rustic Tavern before moving to Colorado. While I am originally from Cozad, Nebraska, I spent several years living in Torrington Wyoming while I attended Eastern Wyoming College in the Vet Tech, Animal Science, and Agribusiness programs. After graduating, I moved to Colorado where I honed my grooming skills at a well known grooming shop called Powder Hounds, and met the love of my life, Kayle.
While the snow is pretty, it is not for this prairie gal! We recently decided to leave Steamboat Springs with our almost two-year-old daughter, and our son who was just recently born in June. When we are not at the grooming shop, we can be found north of Henry with our fearless cow dogs, Pancho and Bella, along with our horses, cows, and cats.
Animals of all kinds have always been near and dear to me, and getting to groom at my own local shop has been a goal I have worked towards since I can remember. I am excited to meet everyone’s fur babies, and pick up where Terry left off with making them feel special.
