We will be taking a leap and starting a mobile petting zoo. For the time being anyone interested will have to sign a waiver prices will be determined based on distance we have hourly rates or daily rates. For the time being there will be no birds due to risk of e-coli, with that being said we are a rescue and all our animals have backstories. Our animals available are but not limited to sheep,goats (big and small), rabbits, a baby calf and we can add a few horses additional cost, petting only no riding, I do have a friend that offers pony rides but she’s separate business. We are based out of Morocco Indiana.

We are trying our best to keep hens at a fair rate but we’ve had to pass up two loads of hens due to still having hens from two weeks ago still at the house, I’m stumped on why, I’ve gone to sale barns and seen hens with unknown history (age,breed,and no backstory) bringing over 3️⃣0️⃣ bills. That’s been constantly since march these bids, but I’ve also seen some nasty looking ones no feathers still bringing 1️⃣0️⃣ bills we drive hours away catch the nicer ones and drive hours back home spend bills on feed endure any losses if any feed and water usually twice a day cause with over 100 hens they eat a lot and yet only ask anywhere from twelve to fifteen per bird and lots of people will ask about them but we never hear back. We are not in direr need to move these ladies but we’ve hit a wall.

Soay ram lambs 10 weeks old, Nigerian alpine cross buck goats 6 months old, 4 month old nigerian alpine whether, 12 week old Nigerian Pygmy cross buck kids 10weeks- 4 months meat mutt rabbits all males, 14 month old laying hens just coming out of molt, 2 month old hatchery stock pullet chicks. Morocco Indiana pick up only.

What’s on the farm looking for homes well let’s see lambs ewes and rams3-5 months, billy goats all ages 6 mo-2yo, Anatolian pups, 14 mo isa brown hens still laying, chicks 1 week to 2 months. Also have meat rabbits 8 weeks to 6 months males and females. Located in Morocco Indiana help move some of these hens so we can get another load let’s save these girls from becoming chricken meal.

Don’t worry all tools were sterilized before procedure started. this massive bubble foot corn was removed from a hen we had gotten from the pullet barn. Just an fyi she was the only one out of 5000 birds. This thing was the size of a golf ball her foot was extremely red had two black scab areas and I decided it was best to make a simple incision and gently pulled her skin back and it just popped out I then rinsed her foot under warm water and stuffed with cotton balls to stop the bleeding, once bleeding stopped I then took wound wash and thoroughly washed her whole inside and outside of her foot stuffed wound with gauze then wrapped, then placed her foot in a baggy to ensure it stays clean and dry. She made no noises while doing the procedure and was actually walking around right after it was wrapped. This lovely lady is named bumble and will reside in our chicken injures house residing with our other hen who is almost fully healed from her bubble foot from two weeks ago hers was a lot smaller like a marble. I’m not looking for advise I’m just sharing my story and will post progress photos as her foot heals. O
