🐶🔬 What's actually inside this syringe?

Millions of May's own cells.

Folks, if you remember May, she has severe spinal cord disease. At one point she was totally paralyzed in her hind legs, and today she's able to walk.

Now I want to show you another part of her treatment.

We're introducing her stem cell sample into her IV fluids. From there, it travels through a specialized filter and into her vein.

This is regenerative medicine in veterinary practice, and we're using it as part of May's ongoing treatment plan.

I called it 21st-century medicine in the clinic because it's pretty remarkable to stand there and actually watch the process happening.

May still has a journey ahead of her, so we're going to keep working for this beautiful girl.

Every patient's condition and response to treatment is different, and therapies like this should be discussed with your veterinarian based on the individual animal.

🐶❤️ These are some of the faces that make our days worthwhile.

Every dog who comes through the clinic doors brings something different with them.

A different personality.

A different story.

And sometimes, a whole lot of personality. 😂

But caring for them isn't something a veterinarian does alone.

Behind every examination, treatment, comforting word, and reassuring scratch is a team of people who genuinely care about the animals we're privileged to work with.

I'm grateful for the people beside me and for all the dogs who keep our days interesting.

This is veterinary medicine behind the scenes.

Sometimes serious.

Sometimes challenging.

And sometimes it's simply a good dog and somebody who loves taking care of them.

🐶🕶️ Why is everybody wearing these cool glasses?

Hey folks, meet my buddy Buster and our wonderful technician Denanisha.

Buster is an older boy with severe degenerative joint disease in his elbows.

Today we're using a therapy laser as part of his care.

The goal is to help decrease inflammation in those arthritic joints, help Buster feel better, and hopefully make walking a little easier for him.

One of the beautiful things about this job is having different ways to help our patients that don't always involve surgery.

And in Buster's case, we get one additional benefit...

We all look pretty cool doing it. 😎😂

🐱 Cats being cats.
