ANY animal left at our facility will be immediately taken to the Mon County Canine Adoption Center.***

ls come from the local county shelters when we have the appropriate space for them! We go almost every week and try to help as much as we can. We cannot take animals from the public because we have to be able to control our population at the shelter! Our adoption application can be found on our website at animalfriendswv.org

The fastest way to get ahold of us about an animal is to message us on here or email us!! You will see on our adoption application that we ask for your landlord's information (if you rent), your veterinarian's information, and for a personal reference. We check ALL of these references to make sure our animals are going to good homes! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and flea treated. 🐾 WE NEED YOUR HELP 🐾

Last Saturday, our pet food giveaway helped feed 433 animals across 84 families in just 2 hours.

We planned to stay open until 3 PM… but we had to close early because we completely ran out of food. The need in our community is bigger than we imagined.

We want to keep this going and hopefully make our next giveaway even bigger—but we can’t do it alone.

We are currently collecting:
🐶 Dog food
🐱 Cat food
✔️ Any brand, any size helps

Donations can be:

Introducing Farrah 💜

Farrah is a 2 year old terrier mix. This tiny gal weighs in at a whopping 6lbs, and is full of sass! What she lacks in size, she makes up for in attitude. She loves people, and is very sweet, and snuggly. She does warm up to other dogs, but those tiny terrier instincts kick in with any other small creature. This includes cats, birds, and all the tiny things. She is leash trained, crate trained, and is working on her potty skills. Farrah is a tiny but mighty little lady.

She will be available once spayed. She is up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, microchipped, given monthly flea and tick preventative, and will be 4DX tested.

Her adoption fee is $150 but any potential adopter still needs an approved adoption application.
