and loving family dog
as he is a guardian,
herder or hunter.

Barking. A standard tool of communication for a
Hungarian Pumi.

Whenever alerting, excitement,
territorial, anxiety, loneliness,
playful, …we are
thankful for the connection
our dog in-trust us as a partner.

After a brief session of barking
…we honor the dog’s
telling “somethings is up” with
“Thank you for lettng
me know.” Or
“Got it, that’s enough.”
A simple, “I agree.” works
wonders and lets the dog feel accomplished or proud
of it’s work.

Unicorn is calming and cuddly.
She has us wrapped
around her floof.
A jolly girl that greets
with puppy-faced,
wiggly-worm grins.
FYI, she’s partly obsessed
with fetching squeaker balls.
For her, curl brushing is optional.
(BTW, Unicorn was born In beautiful Croatia!)

We sure do miss raising sound and delightful baby puppies.
We have not had the spirit to continue adding to an over-populated breed. That many people find their colors or blue eyes a necessary pleasure.
In the last 3-4 years there has been a quick ascending volume of people trying to sn**ch a buck, by breeding, breeding, and breeding dogs.
There has not been much purpose to rhyme or reason or value of the said parentage or offspring.

Oddly enough, we enjoy tracking in darkness, rain, frigid temperatures and slip-slop conditions.
