🧡 Miles is looking for somewhere soft to land. 🧡

Miles is one of our senior guys, and right now, we’re not looking for forever.

We’re looking for good days.

Miles has some medical concerns, and while we don’t know exactly how much time he has left, we do know how we want that time to look: a warm bed, sunny windows, good food, gentle scratches, and someone who doesn’t mind letting an old cat spend his days exactly where he belongs — in a home.

We’re looking for a foster home for Miles where he can enjoy his golden time outside of the shelter. ❤️

Fostering a senior or hospice animal can sound scary. You know going into it that eventually your heart may hurt. But to Miles, it isn’t about how much time is left.

It’s about what we can fill that time with.

Maybe that’s a few months. Maybe it’s longer. Maybe it isn’t. We simply don’t know yet.

What we do know is that Miles deserves to spend it being somebody’s cat.

Somebody go get this sweet old man!

🧡 MEET MILES — YOUR FUTURE FAVORITE OLD MAN 🧡

Miles is older than the hills, a little wobbly, and absolutely convinced that he has earned the right to do life at his own pace. And honestly? We agree. 😂

Miles was left behind in a basement when his people moved away. 💔 Somehow, this sweet old soul still has plenty of love to give.

He loves being brushed, enjoys the finer things in life (like a soft place to nap), and his little wobble is simply part of his charm. 🥹🧡

Miles isn’t looking for a wild adventure. He’s looking for a retirement home, a cozy bed, someone who will brush his handsome orange coat, and a person who will appreciate having the sweetest old man around.

And don’t worry… Miles promises not to yell at the neighborhood kids to get off the lawn.
Well… we can’t actually promise that. He is an old man, after all. 😂
