I’ve not touched base or updated in a while. Life just gets crazy busy and while I initially planned on having more litters of these beautiful dogs, it’s been decided that as of now that’s not a good option for us. However, I’m living life with these crazy beautiful dogs. The girls have grown up so much and are really starting to come into their own. Ember, my black and white is incredibly attached to me and is incredibly smart. Pheonix my red is simply stunning, but isn’t the most coordinated or smartest dog, but she’s so sweet and loving and I love them both dearly. They just turned 9 months a couple days ago. I’ve also included a bonus photo of dad who was extremely interested in one of the neighborhood squirrels.

Well, my girls are officially 13 weeks old this week and we have a special announcement regarding our black and white girl. We’ve been trying to find her the perfect family, but we’ve ultimately decided she’s sharing the same outcome as our Pheonix pup. She’s going to stay a permanent member of our house and pack! Her name is Ember or Emberoni as she gets called quite a lot! Both girls have been learning the ropes of the house quite well and are learning to potty train. They know the routine, are such snuggle bugs and we are all so attached to both babies at this point, it’s the only natural solution.

If you all would like, I’ll continue to share their journey as they grow. I’m not sure if or when we will have another litter, as with our economy it’s not practical when people are struggling to feed themselves to want to buy dogs. But I’d love for everyone to see the girls grow and come into their own. Huskies are such unique and special (also sassy) dogs and I love to share our love of the breed.

There’s no love quite like sisters. These two adore each other! We are working hard to make sure there is no littermate syndrome and they are doing great at it. Potty training is going well too, they are such magnificent girls, I am so incredibly lucky to have them.
I included momma and her girls too. You can see how fantastic she is doing as well and is as glorious as ever!

And so begins the puppies introductions into being well behaved house puppies. Gone is the days of their playpen and today they’ve started being big girls. The most wonderful surprise of them all is that they are p*e pad trained! Consistently going over to use their pad instead of accidents on the floor and I couldn’t be more proud. We are working on training them to potty outside but I’m elated at the first step being done.

Another announcement I have yet to make is that the little red girl has a name, as she is staying here permanently. Her name is Pheonix. We have a name we have been calling our black and white girl, but I’m still optimistic about her finding her own home, so until that time or she decides she is permanent, I won’t be sharing her name. She was also snoozing under the television while this was taken, silly independent girl.

Two little girls had their first bath tonight in preparation for their second vet visit in the morning. These dogs are so fluffy that when they get wet, they look like gremlins. Neither of the girls were thrilled with their bath, but they got lots of love after and then had a big bout of zoomies through the whole house after. They sure love to play with mom and dad!

A warm Michigan day can only mean one thing… puppy playtime outside! They will be 8 weeks tomorrow and now both have their ears standing up. Much better photos than last time. These sweet girls are so much fun. I still can’t believe no one has been interested in our little black and white girl. She’s the sweetest little girl.

Not the greatest collection of photos today, but we caught a few gems. But I want to post anyways because this is just a representation of their personalities and they are growing and changing so very fast.

Red is a sweet heart, but has more of a laid back, if you want to love me great personality. She’s as happy playing and chewing on toys as she is if you’re giving her love. Of course neither one passes by on some good love, but when I sat down with them tonight in the pen, she came over on occasion but was more interested in the new toys.

Black however, totally different story which is why I have no perfectly clear pictures so I posted the best I had. This girl is a total love bug and wants nothing more to be in your lap being loved on. She would much rather be with her humans than play with toys and loves to give kisses. Her favorite thing in the whole world is a belly scratch and when you approach the pen, she immediately flops backwards for belly rubs. When you stop, she paws the air and stares at you, asking for more.

These two are the sweetest girls and are so incredibly spoiled. We started introducing treats this week and black loves the soft ones while red is more of a crunchy gal. It’s just funny how two sisters can be raised the same and have such different personalities.

As a final note, I know I’ve said it before but black is still looking for her forever home. I can’t believe no one is interested in this absolute love bug of a pup. She’s got a great foundation and is going to be a very sweet husky I think. If you’re interested in finding out more about her, I’m happy to have a chat! Their parents, Raven and Kratos have both been DNA tested and are CLEAR and AKC registered as well. All dogs are phenomenal around children and have been handled by myself and my kiddos since day 1, so I have zero concerns around that. We have done so much more with them, but I won’t bore you guys with all those details. I’m just glad to share my beautiful babies with everyone that follows us!
