Atlas & Rhea were here for a day train on Thursday! Lilith joined in throughout the day too, working alongside them. It’s always so fun watching the dogs learn together and build confidence while still getting to be dogs!

Of course, we had to end the hard work with some playtime! Training doesn’t have to be all work — we want our dogs to learn, succeed, and have a fun time while doing so! 🥰

This week was all about group classes, learning, community, and lots of cute dogs! 😍

Wednesday night, I headed to Cloquet to work with K9 Freyja, AEMSA, Crisis Canine of the Midlands for a group class! We went over a few training topics, answered questions, and helped the team feel more confident working with the dogs in their care!

Thursday night, I teamed up with Black Onyx Dog Training LLC for our 6-week Puppy STAR Program! It was so great meeting everyone and their puppies for our first class. We started with the command 'place' and began building those important foundation skills.

Group classes are such a great opportunity for owners and teams to get hands-on learning and real-time guidance while having a trainer there to educate, answer questions, and provide support. I also love being able to partner with other local businesses and organizations to help strengthen our community! 🫶

🖤 MEET LILITH 🖤

This sweet girl came to me through PJ's Rescue for some extra training, and I’m already having so much fun getting to know her!

Lilith is a goofy, happy, energetic girl who loves people and loves dogs. She’s got a big personality and so much potential, and we’re going to be working on helping her build confidence, learn how to relax, and most importantly, feel comfortable and successful in her crate.

We jumped into some training today, and wow is she smart! 🤓 She just needs someone to help give her proper guidance!

I’m excited to see how much this girl grows during her time with me! Stay tuned for updates, training adventures, and lots of Lilith content!

This past week, I had the opportunity to attend The Trainer In You seminar. 🫶

Imagine being in a room full of supportive, kind, like-minded trainers who genuinely want to see each other succeed — people who believe in you, push you to be your best, and celebrate your growth instead of seeing you as competition.

Every single one of these women is admirable, compassionate, and passionate about what they do. I’ve never felt so connected to and understood by a group of people in this industry.

I’m beyond grateful for this experience, the lessons I learned, and most of all, the incredible people I met along the way. 🖤

🎓🐾 EARL’S GRADUATION DAY 🐾🎓

Earl has officially completed his training program, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. When Earl first came to me, he was a big, silly, energetic boy who didn’t always know what to do with all of his feelings and excitement. He’s had more than his fair share of changes and setbacks, and after being adopted and returned, he needed someone to give him consistency, structure, patience, and most importantly… a chance.

And that’s exactly what he got. 🥹

Over these past few weeks, Earl has worked SO hard. We’ve worked on his obedience, recalls, heeling, leash manners, place, downs, impulse control, and learning how to simply settle and exist in the world without feeling like he has to be involved in everything. We’ve taken field trips, explored new environments, worked around distractions, had plenty of off-leash freedom, and celebrated all the little victories along the way.

And somewhere along the way, Earl became really special to me. 🥺

I’m going to miss his goofy face, his ridiculous personality, and that big personality that somehow manages to fill every room he walks into. He has absolutely stolen a piece of my heart.

For now, Earl will be heading to a foster home where he can continue to decompress, practice everything he’s learned, and wait patiently for the person who is going to make him a permanent part of their family.

He deserves a family who will see past his past, appreciate the amazing dog he is becoming, and continue giving him the structure, consistency, and love he needs to thrive.

Earl, I hope you know just how loved you are. I’m so incredibly proud of you, buddy. This may be graduation, but it certainly isn't goodbye. 🥲

Go be someone's very best friend, Earl. You deserve your happily ever after. 🖤

Oh, and of course, we had to celebrate graduation properly… with a pup cup! 😋🍦 Earl was VERY happy with his graduation gift. He definitely thought the ice cream was the best part of his entire training program. 😆

Some days are nonstop... and today was definitely one of them! 😆

🐾 Rhea 🐾 Atlas 🐾 Earl 🐾 Ember 🐾 Vixie 🐾

We started the day with off-leash walks to practice recalls with everyone, followed by on-leash heeling sessions. After all that hard work, everyone came inside for a group place session to relax, decompress, and work on duration before heading back out to finish the day with down-stays and more training.

Nothing fancy or edited here—just a real look at what a busy training day looks like. Every walk, every command, every moment of learning helps build reliable dogs that can succeed in the real world. 🫶

🎓🐾 Congratulations, Ember! 🐾🎓

Today we celebrated Ember's graduation after four weeks of hard work, and I couldn't be more proud of this incredible girl.

Over the last month she has grown into a confident, focused, and eager working dog. From learning solid obedience and reliable off-leash skills to tackling field trips, new environments, and countless real-world distractions, she has exceeded every expectation.

The best part? Ember's journey is just getting started. She has an incredibly bright future ahead as a service dog, where she'll have the opportunity to change someone's life. Knowing I was able to play a small part in preparing her for that future has been an absolute honor.

A huge thank you to Fortitude Service Dogs for trusting me with such a special girl. I can't wait to watch Ember continue her training and see all the amazing things she'll accomplish. 🫶

Cone? What cone? 😆

Vixie got a little bit of supervised cone-free time today, and I don't think she could have been any happier! Safe to say she made the most of every second soaking up the freedom before it was time to put it back on. 🫶💜
