This is Harry.
I have been grooming Harry biweekly since he was just 3 months old. His 1st birthday is this weekend and mom finally felt ready to let go of some locks and let him get a big boy haircut. Mom has done a great job of maintaining and brushing Harry’s coat, allowing for him to have this long look for so long. But the time has come. It is A LOT of work to try to maintain a doodle coat this length so it was a bitter sweet moment for all of us. The collage is a few of his past grooms, starting from his first and ending with his groom from earlier this month when I was asked to really take some length off his head for the first time. It was the first transition into his new look.
The other pictures are before, after and during his transformation this week, including the picture mom gave me from the internet that she wanted me to match as best I could. The hair type isn’t exactly the same but I think I did a pretty good job getting the look pretty close, considering!
This has been such a fun process with a Harry. I can’t wait to continue to watch him grow.
