Tiny patient, BIG cuteness! 🐰💕

Dr. Gowda had the sweetest little visitor in for a wellness exam! Even the tiniest of pets benefit from routine checkups to make sure they're growing healthy and happy. We absolutely love getting to care for our littlest patients!

"The one where Dr. Barrett, Dr. Smith, and Trisha visit Warner Bros. Studios!" ☕️🛋️

This iconic outing was part of their Veterinary Management Group (VMG) gathering, where veterinary professionals from across the country come together twice a year to share ideas, collaborate, and learn from one another.

A little networking, a little Hollywood magic, and some well-deserved fun outside the hospital!

It was a HOT one at Moorpark Country Days, but we still had such a great time!

We loved seeing so many familiar faces stop by our booth and getting to meet a lot of new ones, too. Thank you to everyone who came by to say hi, grab some goodies, and hung out with us!

Also, a BIG thank you to our amazing staff who worked our booth and braved the heat. We appreciate you more than you know!

Today is World Rabies Day!

Rabies prevention starts with awareness, and keeping your pet’s rabies vaccine up to date is one of the best ways to protect both pets and people.

This year, that reminder hits especially close to home. As of September 25, 28 bats in Ventura County have tested positive for rabies in 2026, already surpassing the 22 reported during all of 2025.

Bats are the animals most commonly found with rabies in California. If you find a bat that appears sick, injured or dead, do not touch it. Keep pets and children away and contact Animal Services for assistance.

Not sure if your pet is due for their rabies vaccine? Give us a call and we’ll be happy to check!

***PLEASE READ FULL CAPTION***

Our hospital will be closed today from 11 AM–2 PM for our monthly team training and department meetings. If you need to pick up food or medications, please plan accordingly.

We are also still experiencing some issues with our phone and computer systems. Thank you for your patience while we work to get everything fully back up and running!

We are still able to answer some calls remotely, and you can also text us at 805-529-7003 if you need to reach our team.

First visits can be a little nerve-racking… especially when you’re this tiny!

Annie came in for her very first visit with us and brought a tiny bit of spice along with her. Despite having some strong opinions about the whole exam situation, we had a great visit with Annie and her owner and we’re so happy we got to meet her!

Bonded pair means even dental day is a group activity 🦷🦷

Breezy’s Goldens came in for their dental procedures together because doing anything separately is simply not an option. Clean teeth, fresh smiles, and their bestie right there through it all.
