Join Red River Equestrian Center and Tailwind Trails for a unique clinic weekend with clinician April Milner!

April brings a wealth of experience in both horsemanship and competition, and has previously taught and judged at a Red River Equestrian Center show. This weekend is your chance to learn from her in two exciting and unconventional disciplines!

Explore riding without relying on a traditional bridle while focusing on balance, communication, and developing a deeper partnership with your horse.

🎯 INTRO TO MOUNTED SHOOTING
Try something completely different and learn the fundamentals of mounted shooting in a safe, structured clinic environment.

🐴✨ MEET OUR INSTRUCTOR: GRACE ✨🐴

Grace brings a lifelong passion for horses and teaching, with a background primarily in English riding, hunters, and equitation. She has experience riding and showing at a variety of levels and is continuing to develop her skills in the jumper ring.

As an instructor, Grace works with riders of different ages and experience levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to more advanced riders preparing for the show ring. She especially enjoys helping young riders develop a strong foundation while building confidence, independence, and a positive partnership with their horse.

Her lessons focus on correct fundamentals, effective communication, horsemanship, and building a strong horse-and-rider partnership. Grace strives to create a supportive environment where riders feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and progressing at their own pace.

Grace also has experience volunteering at a therapeutic riding center, working with children and individuals with disabilities. This experience has strengthened her belief that every rider learns differently and that patience and encouragement are an important part of good instruction.

Whether you’re getting in the saddle for the first time, strengthening your fundamentals, or preparing for your next show, Grace is excited to help you reach your goals while making every lesson an enjoyable experience! 🤍🐴

🐴✨ Meet Our Instructor: Emily ✨🐴

Emily brings a passion for hunter/jumper riding and dressage along with a patient, encouraging approach to teaching.

Her own riding journey with her horse, Libby, has given her valuable experience in developing a horse and rider partnership. Together, Emily has brought Libby from an inexperienced, nervous horse to confidently competing, giving Emily a firsthand understanding of the patience, consistency, and trust it takes to build confidence in both horse and rider.

Emily also has experience coaching young hockey players, bringing strong communication skills and a positive approach to working with riders.

As an instructor, Emily focuses on building confidence, developing strong riding fundamentals, and creating a safe and supportive environment where riders can learn and enjoy their time with horses.
