The boys had a puppy name theme all ready to go for this litter, but puppy numbers didn’t match the theme. So they are going to tuck that one in their back pockets for a future litter and we pulled out one that we’ve been holding on to.

This litter’s temporary names honor Christa’s grandparents, who lived on the land where Great Divide Kennel sits today, and a few other pretty great couples that lived in the Great Divide “neighborhood” with them. And because the puppies were born on Christa’s nephews birthday, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to name one after him, too!

Well that’s a wrap for this years Thanksgiving hunts. Couldn’t have asked for better weather or dog work. Im thankful that Seeley and his grandpa get to do these things together.
