🌿🐾 Tamarind Time for Our Lemurs! 🐾🌿
Did you know that tamarind is a fruit that naturally grows in Madagascar, the native home of our ring-tailed lemurs? While wild lemurs enjoy a variety of fruits, leaves, flowers, and other plant materials, tamarind is one of the foods they may encounter in their natural habitat.
Our lemurs absolutely love tamarinds! Not only are they a tasty treat, but having to crack open the tough pods and work to get the fruit inside provides excellent natural enrichment. This encourages problem-solving, foraging behaviors, and keeps their minds active—just like they would experience in the wild.

🚜 Important Wagon Ride Reminder: During the summer months, the comfort and safety of our horses is our top priority. We do not operate wagon rides when the temperature or real-feel temperature reaches 94°F or higher.

☀️FATHERS DAY SPECIAL ☀️

All Dad’s will get free admission on Sunday, Father’s Day. We will not have Wagon rides but the drive-through and walk around will be open. Come celebrate your dad!

It’s going to be another hot day today! With that in mind, the last wagon ride will leave at 1pm! Please arrive early to ensure a spot on the wagon. The drive thru will be open until 5pm!

🔥 Things are heating up so we want to take a moment to remind you of our heat policy. If the temperature reaches 94° or above (including the real feel) we do not have Wagon rides. This often means that we will end rides early or on Sundays potentially not have Wagon rides at all since we do not open until the afternoon. Please be sure to call ahead and ask if we are having warm weather.

The drive-thru is always open and you can enjoy the animals from the comfort of your air-conditioned vehicle!

Happy Saturday!! Summer is heating up and our Ring-tailed lemurs are enjoying some fresh, frozen enrichment to cool off!! We are open today from 9 to 5 and have Wagon rides going first come first serve from 9 to 4.

The Aoudad approve… 🌧️💚

After finally getting some much-needed rain, the grass is greener, the rocks are warmer, and the views at the ranch are looking pretty perfect. These guys are soaking up every minute of it!
