When you get just past Public Storage on the right, turn left. In the back corner of the parking lot where the dumpster building is, follow the gravel drive around to the front or rear parking.

With America's 250th anniversary on the horizon, some pets are not as enthusiastic about fireworks as we are. Luckily, your pet's fear of fireworks can be trained away by getting them accustomed to the sounds of fireworks going off.

Play a video or recording of similar sounds (fireworks, thunder, heavy rain, etc), then turn it down until they don't have a reaction, and reward them for their bravery with a treat. Then, gradually work the volume up over time, continuing positive reinforcement to encourage them to keep up the good work!

If your pet is particularly sensitive to loud noises, we at Race City Animal Hospital can provide specialized assistance or pharmaceuticals to help keep your pet be calm and happier on such a special day in American history! 🎇🇺🇸🎆
