Scout has been busy too. He’s getting a lot of exercise. He’s getting in 5 miles a day and chasing squirrels through the pine woods of eastern Nc.

Couple of updates on the pups. We heard from Hugo earlier this month. He’s discovered pools. His parents love water so I’m sure he’ll be a natural. He has a Brittany neighbor friend and has been enjoying playing and other Dog shenanigans.

New updates from Scout

Scout’s coming along!! He knows his name sits and stays walks on the leash. He did well off leash this weekend changing direction when I did. We’re working on recall and fetching- a little bit of keep away business but it’s early yet. His eyesight is improving-he’s chasing butterflies. His teeth are still sharp I have many bloody holes in my arms as a result. He’s doing great.

New update from Hugo’s family in Charlotte.

Hugo has been with us 2 weeks now and he’s really settled in to his new home and family now! He’s the most popular guy at the soccer field and the baseball park too. We love him so much!
I am also super impressed at how trainable he already is for his age, he’s a very smart boy!

Got an update today on Scout. His humans took him on a 3 mile hike today. Big journey for the little fellow. He’s learned to sit and stay already and his retrieves are coming along. He’s now enjoying a well deserved nap.

Clark as we called him stayed in the area and found a home in Charlotte. The family had a Brittany before, so they know what to expect from this breed. Clark was the first born on that Thursday afternoon and got his name because I grabbed a Blue band. Started calling him Superman, but that was a mouthful and so we went with Clark.

I’ve been late on updates for a couple of the boys. OJ got his new name (Yeti) and it suits him well. He is missing his brothers but doing well in his new home. We’re hoping to see him again in the fall when the preserves are open again or maybe get on some wild birds.
