Little Hooves Romneys Sheep, lambs, breeding livestock, meat and wool products. We have been involved with farming and livestock production for 30+ years.

Little Hooves Romneys is a multi-generational family farm that strives to raise the highest quality lamb possible. We are strategically located between Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New York City with easy access to most major highways. This general locale enables us to serve a diverse group of clientele that chooses to know where their food products come from and expect nothing less than honesty and accountability. Currently we have 150 head of breeding ewes, rams and replacement stock, grow crops and hay on approximately 250 acres and do rotational pasture management on another 50 acres. Our farm practice is humane and healthy based on our own personal code of ethics. Environmental changes and the impact of poor management skills can be devastating to our ecological future, keeping these thoughts in mind, we do everything possible to keep our carbon footprints small for future generations. The lamb that we offer to you is the same lamb that our family has enjoyed for years.

Marilyn is a familiar face to many sheep folk in and out of the show ring. She is a well respected Border Leicester breeder and a friend to many, especially to this Romney breeder…. But who really knew this perfect little gem was associated with the Little Brown Jug! I was from a harness racing family and never knew anything about Marilyn’s horse skills. Wow is all I can say! Congratulations Marilyn, well deserved and I want to hear so much more❤️

It’s a wrap! Another shearing is complete! Nothing feels better than having shearing done and sheep being turned back out on pasture. Now time to get the rams in! Thanks to Ashley and our great crew today. Missing a few of our regulars but we’ll get you next time.

The All American Jr Show was a great weekend, despite the extreme heat, we had an awesome time. We rented a beautiful Airbnb home with AC and a pool which made our sheep showing more like a spa than a show. Seeing all of our show friends while making new ones made the heat so much more bearable. Next stop, the Northeast Youth Sheep Show in MA. See you there!
