Aloka is an ambassador for peace!

🐾 During the peace talk tonight, Aloka decided he was the official "Director of Greetings!" He stepped out to say hello to everyone, wagging his tail and making sure every guest felt welcome. He may not speak, but his cute presence was the perfect addition to the peaceful evening. Everyone loved meeting our polite four-legged ambassador!

MEET ERICA! When we had three staff members move out of state all at once we were worried about bringing three new people at once into our Fox Run Family - but we shouldn’t have been! Each one of the lovely ladies we have hired has been an instant fit for our team.

Erica grew up in a small town in southeastern Oklahoma, where her love for animals began at a young age. From riding horses and rescuing stray cats to convincing her parents to take in every turtle she found, her passion for animals has always been clear. With over 10 years of experience working in clinical veterinary settings, and many more years volunteering with animal rescues, Erica brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge to the team. She even ran her own pet services business before joining the veterinary field full-time. Erica is planning to further her education by pursuing her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology through Penn Foster.

In March 2025, Erica and her husband relocated from Texas to Colorado, happily trading the scorching Texas summers for mountain air and cooler temperatures. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, exploring new places, cooking, long walks with her dogs, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. A proud Oklahoma Sooners fan and devoted Texas Rangers supporter, she never misses a chance to root for her teams.

At home, Erica and her husband share their lives with two rescue dogs—Frankie, a Jack Russell Terrier who survived being hit by a car, and Jojo, a spunky terrier mix. Both pups keep life entertaining and full of energy.

One of Erica’s favorite quotes is from Confucius: ā€œOur greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.ā€ This philosophy reflects her resilience and dedication—whether it’s in life or in caring for her patients. What she loves most about her work is helping animals feel safe, secure, and truly cared for—treating every patient like her own and striving to make every visit a positive one.
