Montrose 4-H Dog Council

Montrose 4-H Dog Council Advisers teach youth responsible dog ownership and skills needed to safely handle and train dogs.

Youth learn critical thinking skills through training opportunities in dog care, agility, obedience rally, showmanship. They are prepared for the unexpected when working with dogs. 4-H members learn how to be flexible, as well as how to think clearly and rationally, when confronted with situations during handling, socializing and training their dogs.
