I wanted to post an update here for everyone that has a Dixie x Rusty puppy (the previous 2 litters).

Happy news! We made the decision to go ahead and spay Dixie and rehome her with close family friends in the Los Angeles area. She gave us two beautiful litters of puppies, but given that she was started on her first litter later in life, we wanted to do what was right for the dog, and the opportunity presented itself for the perfect rehoming situation.

After an exciting road trip thru Las Vegas and Starbucks pup-cups on the way, Dixie is enjoying life with a family with three kids, such as ours, is an only dog and going on long walks daily, and is loving being an indoor dog. I have been assured that she has transitioned well and is duly attached to her new owners!

Stay tuned as we decide if we will breed for another summer litter this year with our miniature Australian Shepherd, Bluey . This would either be a true Aussie miniature litter, or possibly a cross with a corgi, which would make them an Auggie litter. Either way the puppies would mature between 20 and 30 pounds. Please message me if you are interested in being on a waitlist.
