Humane Society of Schuyler County The Humane Society of Schuyler County is a 501c3 not-for-profit agency dedicated to advancing animal welfare since 1987. NYS RR173 Thank you.

We are a no-kill shelter offering dog and cat shelter and adoption, low-cost spay neuter services and community resources. Adoption Hours are:
Friday: 10 am - 1 pm
Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm
Sunday: 2 pm - 5 pm
Monday: 10 am - 1 pm

The Humane Society of Schuyler County is a limited admission, no-kill shelter. Incorporated in 1987, we are the only full-service animal welfare organization serving the needs of our community. The Humane Society provides shelter for stray and surrendered animals, offers animals for adoption, provides a low-cost spay/neuter program. The mission of the Humane Society of Schuyler County has five key points:
Eliminate pet overpopulation
Prevent animal cruelty
Provide quality care for homeless animals
Promote responsible pet ownership
Help the community to develop humane principles toward all animals

We are funded primarily through donations, gifts, grants and fundraising efforts. We receive no county, state or government funding for our on-going operation.

Maddox and Princess heard from the cats that our Facebook friends are the best! They are hoping to get our spray cheese and canned dog food (Purina is great!) shelf filled up, we are almost out! Stop by Lakewood vineyards to meet some wonderful adoptable dogs and your own Fido or FiFi will enjoy a special treat.

$50 per tasting pass including taxes and fees. Passes are non-refundable. Ticket insurance is available, for an extra fee at checkout via our third party partner.

One pass = one complimentary tasting flight poured at each winery.

You must be traveling with a dog to purchase this tasting pass.

About This Tasting Pass
Over seven days – August 21-28, 2026 – passholders can enjoy visiting and sampling wines at participating wineries, during each winery’s regular business hours. Your ticket includes wine tasting, dog biscuits, and a special bandana for your dog!

You can come for a day or two, or spread your visits out over the entire event duration (your ticket only entitles you to one tasting at each winery).
