We are a 501(c)(3) organization with the primary mission of lowering the homeless pet population. Whether it's by taking in homeless, lost, or unwanted pets, or transporting animals from different states to find them homes; we have that one goal in mind. Another focus of ours is helping educate the public, especially the youth on why our mission is important and why you should be apart of it too! Another day, another Pup Cup adventure! ☀️🐾

Check out what our volunteer had to say about Bethany below👇

"This time it was Bethany's turn to get out and stretch her legs. She spent the morning exploring Riverside Gardens, taking in all the sights and sounds. She even spotted the geese, but impressed us by staying focused and not trying to chase after them. What a good girl!

We also discovered that Bethany is a quick learner. It didn't take her long to figure out that going potty might earn her a treat. Of course, we made her work a little harder than that, and she was more than happy to show off her manners and listen to commands.

After our walk, we made our traditional Saturday stop at the Cone Shoppe for a Pup Cup, and Bethany did fantastic! She walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys being out and about, and loves spending time with her people. She is a strong, smart girl who thrives with confident leadership and clear expectations.

Bethany is going to make an amazing companion for the right person. Just look at these photos and tell us you wouldn't want to spend your Saturdays exploring with her! " ❤️🐶

These four very special dogs have all been living in foster homes for more than 45 days, and they have been putting in the work!

They've learned routines, settled into home life, and gained valuable experience living alongside their foster families. Like any rescue dog, each still has a few quirks and things they're working on, but their fosters have already done much of the hard work to help them succeed.

⭐️The weekend is here, and we can't wait to spend it with you!

We will be closed on Sunday as we complete some much-needed facility upgrades. We're excited to make improvements that will benefit both our animals and visitors, but with contractors, ladders, and equipment throughout the building, we need to close for everyone's safety.

That means Saturday is the perfect day to stop by! Our animals are ready, waiting, and hoping to meet their future families. Whether you're looking to adopt, volunteer, or just visit, we'd love to see you.

Joe has been with Impacting Paws Professional Dog Trainer for a little over a week and is thriving!

Joe is finally getting to be the dog we knew he could be. He is calm, looking to people for leadership, and growing his confidence.

He's learned some really important commands and boundaries that will set him up for his forever home.

This sweet girl was found near Backbone State Park approximately two weeks ago. The finder has been actively searching for her owner during that time but has not had any success.

She appears to be young, is not spayed, and does not have a microchip.

If this is your dog, or if you have any information that may help us identify her owner, please contact us as soon as possible.

Proof of ownership, current rabies vaccination documentation, and reclaim fees will be required.

Tonight, we wanted to shine a spotlight on a very special girl. What many people don't realize is that Cricket is one of Joe's very best friends.

When people hear that Joe is dog-selective, they often assume that means he doesn't get along with other dogs. The truth is that Joe simply doesn't get along with every dog. When he finds the right match, he forms wonderful friendships, and Cricket is at the top of that list.

It's easy to see why these two get along so well. Cricket is as perfectly balanced as your Sunday morning coffee. She's happy-go-lucky, with just the right mix of s***k and chill. She loves to play when it's time for fun, but she's just as content curling up for cuddles when the day winds down.

One of Cricket's best qualities is her steady, easygoing personality. She has a remarkable ability to get along with all kinds of dogs while maintaining her calm, even-keeled nature. She's also a smaller-sized pup, making her a great fit for many different lifestyles and homes.

We repeat... FLOOF BALL ALERT. 🚨☁️

Chewbarka appears to be approximately 90% Maltese fluff, 8% ears, and 2% tiny legs.

This adorable 3 year old gentleman looks like a real-life stuffed animal that somehow came to life and decided his life's mission was to find the nearest couch and a human to cuddle with.

Chewbarka is calm, easygoing, and happiest when he's relaxing beside his people. While he may be a little shy when meeting new friends, give him a little time and you'll discover a sweet cuddle bug hiding underneath all that fluff.

He's not looking for an action-packed lifestyle. No marathons. No extreme sports. No unnecessary chaos. Just a comfy place to nap, some gentle affection, and a family who will love him for exactly who he is.

Chewbarka would do best with a patient family that understands he likes to take things at his own pace.

📣Cat Program Update📣

A couple of times each year, we find ourselves having to make this announcement, and it is never an easy one to make.

Effective immediately, we will no longer be taking intake requests for our cat program as we have reached our capacity.

While we currently have 9 cats and kittens available for adoption, we also have approximately 20 kittens in foster care, several mama cats, and 9 additional cats waiting to become available for adoption. On top of that, we continue our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts to help manage our local community cat population.

At this time, we have reached the limit of what we can responsibly and humanely care for with the resources available to us.

If you have been thinking about adding a feline friend to your family, now is the perfect time to visit our available cats and kittens. Every adoption creates space for another cat in need, allowing us to continue helping homeless and vulnerable felines in our community.

🐄 Meet Moo! 🐄

Moo and cows have one thing in common... a serious love of grass. 🌱

When she's not playing fetch, soaking up attention from kids, or showing off her sunny personality, you'll usually find Moo stretched out in the grass, living her best life. Just look at that face. It says it all. ☀️

This happy-go-lucky girl is equal parts playful goofball and cuddle bug. Moo loves toys, proudly carries them around like prized possessions, and is always ready for a game of fetch, tug, or squeaky toy fun. She takes treats gently, keeps her kennel clean, and gets along well with other dogs. She's the kind of companion who can make you laugh with her silly antics and then snuggle up beside you for some quality cuddle time.

Shelter life has been a little stressful for Moo, and we'd love nothing more than to see her trading kennel walls for a comfy couch and a yard full of grass to lounge in. Her affectionate nature and easygoing personality would make her a wonderful match for many families, including first-time dog owners.
