Congratulations to Pepper and her new Mom and Dad! She must be so relieved to be living indoors as a valued family member, with a nice fenced yard for playtime. Looks like she's making herself right at home. 🩷

Every scar has a story, but Biscuit doesn't dwell on the past. At 9 years old, after surviving whatever life threw his way, his eyes hold nothing but pure, forgiving warmth.

His body bears the quiet marks of a hard journey, but his heart remains unblemished. He is gentle. He is patient. And despite everything, he still trusts.

There is a profound, quiet grace in an older dog. Biscuit doesn't ask for much. He just wants a soft place to land, a sunbeam to nap in, and a gentle hand to rest his chin on. He wants to know what it feels like to be truly safe, loved, and cherished in his golden years.

If you look past the scars, you’ll see a soul who is ready to offer a lifetime of devotion in exchange for a warm bed and a little kindness.

Please don't let his story end in a shelter kennel. Open your heart to a senior who has so much love left to give.

We're so touched and grateful to precious Brady Wilson and her family, who chose to celebrate their daughter's birthday in the most generous way - by asking party guests to bring supplies for the shelter pets!

What a lovely way to celebrate a sweet girl who loves puppy dogs, and to model compassion and kindness. Children reared with values like this grow up to make our world a better place. Thank you to the Wilson family, and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU MILLIE! 🩷

AVAILABLE! Flame point Snow is the ultimate cat package! He's a soft smuggler who absolutely adores people - a lap cat with a gentle demeanor. He and Gumbo are roomies, and it's funny how alike they are.

Snow is neutered and fully vetted. Adoption fee is $85 and you can reach a volunteer on messenger or 769-281-8202.

We are so grateful to our sweet friend Linda Lou for choosing us as the beneficiary of her birthday Facebook fundraiser! Her friends gave generously and raised the funds to pay for spay and neuter surgeries for our two most recent intakes. Thank you, Linda, for using your celebration to transform lives - happy birthday!

Team members provide pet care: cleaning, feeding, and playing with and socializing pets. $10 per hour. 3 or 4 shifts (2 hours per shift) per week and weekend availability is a must.

Milli announced that she's done with the bottle and is ready for wet food. If anyone can help out with wet or dry kitten food or kitty litter, we'd sure appreciate it! We're fortunate to be well stocked with adult cat food for the big kitties.
