The tiny monsters have officially made their first appearance! 👻🐾

After all the chaos, cuddles, squeaks, and kitten mischief, it’s finally time to introduce the Terror Night Kittens and the mama behind this little horror family!

🖤 VALAK | Momma 🖤

Named after the terrifying demon from The Conjuring universe, Valak is the beautiful mama of these seven little monsters. She may have a terrifying name, but to her babies, she’s simply Mom. 🥹🐈‍⬛. She doesnt want paparazzi so no pictures of mom.

Seven kittens. One horror-loving mama. Four tiny horror queens. Three miniature Killer Klowns.

And somehow, these little monsters are still ridiculously adorable. 😂🖤

These kittens are part of the cats we’re helping through Scout’s Honor Community Animal Rescue’s TNR efforts. Our focus is Trap-Neuter-Return, helping community cats get the care they need while working to reduce the number of unwanted litters.

For now, the Terror Night Kittens are growing, thriving, and keeping everyone very busy. 🐾

Scout’s Honor Community Animal Rescue

Our rescue is currently caring for multiple cats and kittens who are in need of some fun, enrichment, and a little extra love. ❤️🐱

Many of the cats we are currently hosting have been rescued from difficult situations, are waiting for their forever homes, or are receiving care while they recover.

🧸 WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING CAT TOYS!

We are looking for new or gently used toys, including:

* 🐭 Plush mice
* 🪶 Feather toys
* 🧶 Balls and jingle balls
* 🐾 Springs
* 🐟 Catnip toys
* 🪢 Interactive toys
* 🎣 Wand toys
* 🧩 Puzzle and enrichment toys
* 🏠 Small toys for foster spaces

Every toy donated helps give a rescue cat something to do, something to enjoy, and a little bit of normalcy while they wait for their next chapter.

This is the reality when kitten season is over. Kittens turn into juveniles and juveniles turn into adult cats that keep multiplying at a alarming rate. They wont stay small, cute and fuzzy for an eternity. Thei will wonder around streets were people have no regard for speed limits with an upper respiratory infection. They will go hungry and thirsty for God knows how long and in that of all of that predators will try to get them if not a POS of a human trying to hurt them will..Thats why I cant stress this enough SPAY YOUR ANIMALS. Even if they aren’t your animals. SEEK FOR HELP TO GET THEM SPAYED. NO MORE SUFFERING. Scooter got lucky today and was brought to me is getting treatment and love.

I am so happy to announce that we were able to get NINE cats fixed today!!!! Two of the cats had to have antibiotic shots. Today, hundreds of unwanted kittens were prevented from being born!

Sadly, one of the cats spayed today was pregnant. She wasn't very far along, and her kittens were aborted. That isn't something we like to do, but it is much kinder to do that than to let that baby be born into a world where it has to fight to survive.

We've been seeing dozens of new cats in our colonies, so our work has only just begun. Be part of the solution, not the problem. Please, spay and neuter your pets!

🐾🎂 Happy Birthday to an Important Part of the Scout’s Honor Family! 🎂🐾

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate someone who is a huge part of what makes Scout’s Honor possible.

Behind the scenes, there is a person who has spent countless hours helping us create safer, better lives for cats who have been abandoned, forgotten, or had nowhere else to go. He builds catios, helps create amazing spaces for our cats to live and heal, provides tools when we need them, and somehow manages to put up with all of our ideas, projects, and “what if we…” moments. 😹😹

Rescue work isn’t always easy. It takes patience, dedication, and a willingness to jump in and do whatever needs to be done. He has shown that again and again — not just by helping build things, but by supporting the mission and understanding why these cats matter so much.

Every tunnel, every perch, every safe space, and every happy cat exploring their new home carries a little piece of his hard work and generosity.

From all of us at Scout’s Honor — thank you for being part of this journey, for supporting us, and for helping us give these cats the lives they deserve.

The cats may not know it’s your birthday, but we do… and we’re pretty sure they’d thank you if they could. 🐈❤️

My heart is so heavy right now.
Lately, it seems like every time we visit one of our cat colonies, there are new faces waiting for us. New kittens. New adults. More frightened eyes. More hungry mouths.

These aren't just "stray cats."

Many of them were loved by someone. You can tell by the way they run toward us instead of away. They still trust people. They still believe someone is coming back for them.

But no one ever does.

I won't pretend I'm not angry. I'm angry because these innocent animals are paying the price for decisions they never made. They didn't choose to be left behind. They didn't choose to go hungry, become sick, be hit by cars, be attacked by other animals, or slowly lose their trust in people.

Their only mistake was loving someone who walked away.

If you are thinking about dumping a cat, please... don't.

No matter how impossible your situation feels, abandoning them is not the answer. Reach out to a rescue. Contact a shelter. Ask your friends, family, or your community for help. There are people who will try to help you, but once a cat is dumped, the suffering has already begun.

To the people who continue abandoning these precious lives, I wish you could spend just one day walking beside us. I wish you could hear the cries of hungry kittens. I wish you could look into the eyes of a cat who still waits for the family that never comes back.

Maybe then you would understand.

We will keep fighting for these babies because they deserve someone who won't give up on them. But we cannot rescue our way out of a problem that people continue to create.

Please, be part of the solution.

Spay and neuter your pets. Never abandon them. Share this post so someone who needs to hear this does.

The next frightened face we find shouldn't be there.

Let's make sure it isn't.

I hope that one day we visit our colonies and don't find a single new face that was left there by someone who gave up. Until then, we'll keep showing up—for every life that needs us. ❤️

Every once in a while, life places someone in your path who quietly restores your faith in humanity. Someone whose kindness is so genuine that it leaves a lasting mark on your heart.

That is exactly what happened when I met Jeff and his family.

When I told Jeff that a homeless couple had been drinking from the cats' water bowls because they didn't have access to clean water, he didn't ask questions. He didn't judge. He didn't wonder how they ended up in that situation or whether they deserved help. His first thought was simply, "How can I help?" And before I knew it, he was already putting that compassion into action.

That is the kind of people Jeff and his family are.

Their generosity wasn't just about the incredible donations he and his family gave to Scout's Honor TNR Program. It was about seeing people and animals with the same compassion, believing that kindness should never come with conditions, and proving that one caring heart really can make a difference.

In a world that can sometimes feel heavy, people like Jeff and his family remind us that goodness still exists. They remind us that there are people who choose love over judgment, compassion over criticism, and action over words.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Jeff and your family. Your generosity will help countless animals, and your kindness has touched me in a way I will never forget. I am so incredibly grateful that our paths crossed. The world needs more people like you all, and I hope you know just how much you are appreciated. ❤️
