Change.

A word we all fear. Fear, uncertainty, and questions are at the forefront of anything new. So how do you know if change is right for you?

Each year we all “change” as individuals. We are meant to grow, learn from past experiences and seek out to build a life with the ones we truly love. If you are blessed to be married to your soul mate, don’t think that happened without God’s intervention. He saw your two souls long before you even knew each other’s name and He had a plan for you both to join as one. During your journey he knew you would both experience highs and lows and would need each other to grow through trials. This is why God created a partner for Adam. When Adam or his partner struggled in times of despair, fear, and uncertainty, they could lean on each other for love and support guiding them through the darkest of valleys.

As we progress in life, the enemy dwells on your happiness and knows how to hit you where you are most vulnerable. Often times we lose sight of God during this time and that’s when we allow the devil to ruin the plan God created for the two souls meant for each other, the person turning down a job out of fear or financial instability, or for the one who is too afraid to step out of their comfort zone. So what happens? How do we fight a war that seems impossible? One simple response: Your faith in God!

Through faith and trust, God tells us to rely on Him, pray to Him, and surrender everything to Him. When jobs force us to leave everything we’ve known behind to pursue uncertainty, we are cautious. We put our faith slightly on hold as we fear if we made the right decision. But God wouldn’t have opened the door for that job at that moment, allowed you to meet the one person He hand selected for you, or given you the power to take a risk if He didn’t see a bigger purpose for you in your life. Life will never be roses all the time. Life will test you far beyond what you think you’re capable of. But when you choose to leave something or someone behind because you’re afraid, it’s too hard to keep going, or it just doesn’t work for you anymore then who are you really giving up on? Yourself for protection, for lifting burdens off your shoulders, for seeking what’s easy without thought or effort, or God because you’re too afraid to trust His path for you and your future.

Change is meant for us to grow and lean on God and our friends and family to support us as we channel our fear into strength while silencing the enemy. Your confusion is natural. Your questions are valid. Your curiosity if you’re good enough is at the forefront of every human in this world. God is the one we should seek as He guided you to the place where everything began. Do you have enough strength to shut the enemy out and fight for confidence in that new job? Can you hear God when He says you’re not done yet? Are you willing to fight past the exhaustion, the worry, the uncertainty and the breakdowns and know that what God planted in your heart and inner drive years ago is ready to conquer the darkness and do His work as you stand up?

Don’t focus on what isn’t anymore and seek change because it’s a breath of fresh air, but rather ask God to give you the tools to fight off the enemy and rekindle what He placed in your heart at the beginning of your story. He’s not done with you yet.

Out of your control.

Many of us have been in situations that we can’t control but are so empowered to try to fix them. We trust God, follow His way, pray and wait for answers. Are you patient? What do you see? Where are you going?

It’s easy to get wrapped up in fixing things, because as humans we don’t like feelings that are broken, stones out of place, or white lies hidden behind “truths.” Our nature is to live in harmony with each other and avoid conflict at all costs.

Have you ever questioned how to trust in God when you know something is not right with the people you love the most? How as humans do we not throw all of our energy into worrying when you know that something is broken? Where do you ignore the worry when emotions arise with your coworkers and you want nothing more than to squash the animosity or the uneasiness? Our first desire is to fix the problem because we feel personally responsible. As humans we don’t like confrontation, we don’t like distance, we crave a feeling of acceptance, being wanted, and most importantly whole heartedly loved 🥰.

Believing in something that you are passionate about brings pure joy. At some point life throws you a curve ball to test your faith. Questions begin to arise and fear swirls around creating confusion. How do you navigate worry now? Doing kind gestures for friends and not receiving help when you truly need a friend leaves you feeling lonely and invisible. 🫥 Why me? What did I do wrong?

God tells us not to waste our energy trying to control things that are out of our control. But as humans we feel obligated to correct what we feel responsible for. Trusting God to lead us down a path and follow Him wherever He leads us takes a lot of faith. This faith does not come easy and is difficult to fully accept. In order to grow in Christ you have to let go of the worry and pray/trust that God can and will fix your problems, heal the wounds, and instill Love and faith back into what you lost.

God knows your path. He will lead you to where you are meant to be. But you have to put your whole heart, mind, and soul into the process, and place the deepest trust in Him! Love never fails. God has blessed us all far beyond what we can see. Truly trust in God, and know what you think you’ve lost forever isn’t gone and you can make it new again.

New lens.

When we face problems, obstacles, or challenges we put blinders on because we are determined to fix them and conquer the battle. But what happens if your intentions are wrong?

Fixing every day to day problems and obstacles are achievable, as they don’t weigh too heavy on our hearts and minds. They are more like puzzles that we have to solve so we can realign the miss matched pieces and make the item, feeling, or situation whole again.

However, when our hearts are involved we have a passion to dive deeper, push harder, seek stronger for answers and cures. The heartbreak, loneliness, and numbness our souls experience during these setbacks stings every nerve of our body. We begin to focus on this burden that has clothed us in bricks tieing us down, not allowing us to move or breathe. When our heart latches on to an emotions, an experience, a conversation our entire body becomes invested to make everything whole again. We don’t enjoy fear, worry, anxiety but rather happiness, harmony, and love!

Passionate determination can cause blinders to shield us from God and ultimately spiral into a realm of loneliness, numbness, extreme fear, and ultimately heartbreak. We cry out daily, sing His praises, replay conversations on repeat in our minds, but still fear the worst as the situation hasn’t been resolved. Channeling your energy to God and the blessings He’s provided you everyday should refocus your energy to enjoy the ☀️, be thankful for the 🌧️, and embody the beauty of nature 🌺.

Truly putting your faith and trust in God will lead you home! Your thoughts may be clouded, your feelings numb and void, but God is still in your ❤️, and He knows what’s best for you! Refocus your energy today to allow God to be in charge of your life, take the reins and lead those that are lost back to you.

Waiting, that can be a hard, cold word that we dislike in many situations.

None of us truly like to wait for anything. Our society is one of instant gratitude or resolution. Waiting creates anxiety, worry, fear, and most importantly doubt! We call out to God in prayer asking Him to show us the way, heal the broken, protect our loved ones. But what we don’t realize is these prayers are ALL answered……in God’s time. God doesn’t make you wait as a punishment or a lesson to be learned. He makes you wait because He knows the timing isn’t right. God created everything and everyone on this Earth. He knows what you are feeling, thinking, and desiring far before your own ❤️ can understand. Yet we still seek God’s hand in our lives for comfort, support, and answers.

Many times our wants and timelines don’t line up with God’s and we interpret his answer as unresponsiveness or simply a “no.” This is just the opposite. God answers every single one of our prayers. Some are answered quickly, some with “signs” that God heard you or is with you, and some with endings we dread. Nonetheless, God is always there working in your life and helping you through every trial and obstacle you encounter.

Prayer is a beautiful connection and conversation with God that He cherishes daily. But remember, when you reach out to Him, don’t wrap yourself up in receiving an answer that day, a few days from now, or maybe even a few months. When you don’t receive an answer don’t assume God didn’t listen or He chose not to answer your prayer; but rather He is working in your life to make you whole and answer your call in the best time for your faith journey.

As hard as it is to wait sometimes, you have to rely on your trust and faith in God that He will not give up on you and He will answer your prayers. When you wait hopefully in His presence, you will be amazed at the miracles of what He can do for you! Talk, wait, trust! Don’t give up!

Safe!

Where is your safe place? Do you even have a safe place where you can retreat and no there’s no fear, no doubt, and no judgement? Is God in your safe place?

During our darkest moments, we spiral into an unknown realm where numbness takes over, emptiness clouds ☁️ our hearts, and depression wakes us each day. These moments are clouded by the devils hand. His hand is at work during these times. Life is showing you the evil in this world and it’s so easy to continue to slide into this void realm. But what and who are you missing? God!

When we exist in this dark realm, we have not lost our freedom altogether, but rather allowed evil to tie our hands and place blinders around our eyes to shield us from Gods blessings. The thoughts you imagine of unworthiness, not knowing who you are anymore, and the lack of happiness you find in daily joys is simply a heart surrounded by dark, emotionless chaos. No matter how deep you are in this cycle, or how many times you’ve been down this road thinking today is your last, God has NEVER and will NEVER lead your side.

Did you wake up today? Are you breathing? If you answered yes to these 2 questions, then God’s not done with you yet, and your story is far from over. This road you are venturing will be hard, confusing, and at times seem pointless, but as a child of God, you are safe and Loved by the purest Love this world can offer.

Let me in and help you. Know there are so many people praying for you and that Love you dearly. You matter. You are enough! Slowly each day ignore the bantering at work, remove one negative thought & replace it with seeing good in the day, and most importantly PRAY! Prayer will drive the devil away faster than anything! He can’t stand when you speak Gods name. This is your weapon of power. Start today! Pray to God right now, even if it’s as simple as “God, please help me. I’m lost and I don’t know what I’m doing.” You are stronger than the devil and I’m here to fight your battles with you. Let me in, and our army will bring you home!
