🐴 Meet Our Mares 🐴
Now that everyone has seen what Alll The Way Mae can do it's only fair to show off her mama! Blue Daisy Duck is an NCHA earner herself trained by the famous Shannon Hall. She earned her money in the non pro classes and then retired to teach horsemanship at a Boys' Home in Missouri. Her path to Roaming Ranch wasn't easy, she lost sight in one eye and has quite a scar on her neck and shoulder with good stories to tell I'm sure.
Daisy is a daughter of Blue Duck Okie - earner of $168k NCHA before export to South America. He has produced over $700k. Daisy's dam is a $100k producing daughter of Miss N Cash. Daisy's talent and valuable outcross pedigree have proven to be an asset for our breeding program. She has a 2024 c**t in a show program, a 2025 Light N Lena c**t here with us and is expecting a Metallics MVP for 2027.
Daisy is one of everyone's favorite mares with lots of personality.

Hopefully a bright future ahead for this outcross mare.

RO Kit Ten is an own daughter of Kit Dual (known for siring outstanding broodmares) and out of a strong mare line including Sonitas Last and Dry Doc. "Marge" is the perfect size at 14'3 with great foot and bone. She's also an excellent model in the pasture. She's currently carrying a Spots Hottist (LTE $226k and growing!). We went to meet Spots Hottist last winter and were so impressed by his build and personality we had to add him to our list.
The plan for Marge next year is Areybe - a stallion we got to watch several times under Kenny Platt.

Native American Day | Honoring Heritage & the Horse

Today we take a moment to honor Native American heritage, culture, and the generations who have carried these traditions forward.

For Garth, being Northern Cheyenne is an important part of who he is. The horse has long held a special place in Native American history and culture — not simply as an animal, but as a partner, teacher, and part of a way of life.

Working with horses is about more than training. It’s about building trust, communicating without force, and developing a partnership where horse and rider can learn from one another.

We’re proud to honor Garth’s Northern Cheyenne heritage and the deep connection between Native people and the horse.

Respect the horse. Honor the heritage. Preserve the partnership. 🐎

🐴 Meet Our Mares 🐴🖤
This is Jett, a 5 year old Badger Starlight bred mare with some Freckles Pl***oy and Eatin Out (LTE >$180k) by Docs Hickory thrown in. Badger Starlight had 3 much more famous full brothers - Grays Starlight, Paddys Irish Wh***ey & Gallo Del Cielo. That blood is getting more rare and we were thrilled to find a young, black mare with 37.5%
She's currently in foal to Judge Boon and everyone's fingers are crossed for a black or blue roan filly.
We may like the Judge Boon so much we'll repeat the cross, or we're considering The Midnight Train for 2027!

If there was a best-dressed award in the NCHA we'd vote for Reymond every time! He brought home more money from Garden City last weekend and he & Katelyn are knocking on the door to the Top 50 in the world standings for their class!

🐴 Meet Our Mares 🐴
A newer addition to our program is "Autumn Rains" - her sire Autumn Acre won over $360k NCHA under Phil Rapp and was a son of Bob Acre Doc who is a staple in our breeding program. Stormy's dam is a daughter of Mr Sun Olena, a well known son of Doc Olena and producer of cutters, cowhorses & rope horses. This is a shapey mare with a super kind eye.
Stormy is carrying a Pretty Boy Cat for us due in April 2027.
Next year we plan to breed her to Maggic Mike!
2027 Pretty Boy Cat contracts are available with The Roaming Vet LLC - he has produced over $4M and the name holds true - they're PRETTY.

We're super proud of our 3 year old "Alll The Way Mae"! This filly had an awesome cutting debut last Friday and Sunday and was completely unbothered by the stress of a show. We haven't gotten to take her to any preworks so the fact she just went to work and held it all together is a very promising step towards a long and successful show career.
