This handsome gentleman has quite the story to tell.

Bob is a retired stray, a former neighborhood heartthrob, and yes… a baby daddy. 😸 But these days, he’s ready to leave his wandering days behind and settle into a loving forever home.

Bob is a big ol’ chunk of love with an even bigger heart. He adores attention, soaks up affection like a sponge, and never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. If you’re looking for a cat who will happily accept all the love you have to give, Bob is your guy. ❤️

Bob is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you away. FIV-positive cats can absolutely live happy, healthy lives and can safely live with other cats. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, not through sharing food bowls, grooming, cuddling, or everyday cat activities. And trust us—Bob is much more interested in getting pets than picking fights. 🥰

Everyone remember Tabitha that had NINE kittens?! Tabitha came to us from Bessemer and has raised nine GORGEOUS, healthy babies and she is ready to be spayed!! She said 9 is more than enough kids for her! If our Cattery family could help us raise about $135, we can afford her spay as well as her FVRCP and rabies vaccines. We lost another Chelsea baby this morning. He had dinner last night and was moving a little slow. But this morning when his foster went to give them breakfast, he had just crossed over. Please send some love and good vibes to their foster mom and dad, this is hard on them.

Lamar is officially available for pre-adoption, and his story is one we won’t soon forget.

This brave little boy has already faced more than any kitten should. Lamar came to us with his brother, and despite every effort to save them both, we sadly lost his sibling, Kendrick💔 This tiny fighter showed us just how strong a little kitten can be. Day by day, he grew stronger, and now he’s thriving.

And through it all, he has remained the sweetest boy. 💙

His favorite thing in the world is being held like a baby while he naps. He loves cuddles, seeks out affection, and has a way of melting hearts instantly. When he’s not snuggled up, he’s busy being a playful, curious kitten and enjoying every moment of the life he fought so hard for.

Lamar’s journey is a reminder of why we do what we do. Now all he needs is a forever family.

We can literally feel the love through these adoption photos. 😭😭😭 Sandwich has been adopted and is going to his forever home!! He was scooped up from the cat colony at The Glen apartments in Montevallo. Sandwich is so sweet and loving and we are so over the moon for him. Happy tails, Sandwich and family!!! ♥️♥️♥️

We didn’t let a little torrential downpour stop us from doing our good work in Chelsea today. We got the feisty calico girl with the ruptured eye, an adult with an oozing neck wound, and another orange baby with a severe URI. Three more heartbeats taken from that heart-breaking situation. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that has supported us and these babies. We’ve managed to remove 7 kittens and 1 adult, although one of the tiniest kittens passed the morning after rescue. Animal rescue is not glamorous by any stretch of the imagination. It’s downright dirty, stinky, and heart-shattering most of the time. But you all make us feel a little less alone in this. So thank you. More updates to come.
