🚨 URGENT — Help Us Find This Wonderful Dog His Forever Home 🚨
This lovable 8–12 month old neutered male (63 lbs) is current on all veterinary care, microchipped, and very deeply loved. Unfortunately, due to serious health challenges, his previous owners could no longer meet the needs of an active young dog.
This has now become a critical situation. He is currently in boarding while we search for the right placement — but boarding is not a long-term solution for a smart, energetic dog that thrives on connection and activity. He deserves a home, not a kennel.
💙 About Him:
Extremely affectionate — convinced he is a lap dog and loves to snuggle
Playful and goofy — tries to carry every ball at once
Not a fan of baths, but mud puddles bring him pure joy
Appears to do well with other dogs and wants to play
🧠 Very Intelligent & Trainable
He is food-motivated and eager to learn.
Commands he knows:
✔ Sit (excellent!)
✔ Down with a short stay
✔ Clean your paws
✔ Trade / Drop-it
✔ Retrieve
✔ Loves the flirt pole
He does have prey drive and will chase running animals, so a home without cats or chickens is recommended.

This dog is not meant for a sedentary lifestyle. He would thrive with someone active — a runner, hiker, outdoor enthusiast, or someone interested in training for agility or rally. With the right structure and outlets, he has the potential to be an absolutely exceptional companion.
