Cash got to be instructor yesterday vs. student. ⭐️

"Sharing some photos from horse camp where Cash was a great teacher. He helped teach ground work, how to safely trim, farrier demo, tying, leading, in hand obstacle course for 7 kids who have never been around horses. He sure was a great boy today! Not 1 spook or issue."

It’s been a good run, but we’re giving up our official Stallion Avenue & Stable Lane Coordinator duties for the Midwest Horse Fair.

Now that Dac (Redacted) has joined our farm, we felt we needed to return to the exhibitor role so we are able to properly promote our breeding program. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed managing Stallion Avenue & Stable Lane over the past several years; we’ve had some good times, laughs, enjoyed connecting with the stallion owners & barn managers, and made some great memories with our Team.

I’m proud to say that Stable Lane was our “brainchild”, and we’ve enjoyed watching that grow over the years. We’ve also been adding stalls and have been able to sell out Stallion Avenue the past few years, so we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished there.

We’re looking forward to 2027 so we can kick back and resume hanging out by our boys & talking with everyone we’ve missed the past several years. We’re looking forward to being back on the “other side” at next year’s Midwest Horse Fair!

We had good intentions of showing at the Upper Midwest Buckskin Horse Association show this weekend, but it didn't work out. We sponsored the IBHA Buckskin Bred weekend highpoint award so thought it would be nice to be there, but instead Dac had to work this morning. So instead of standing in a show ring, we were meeting a client in the Menards parking lot with Dac, on ice, in a box! Customer's first, right?? 😄 Maybe we can catch the next show. Good luck to all the exhibitors, especially those Buckskin Bred's!

Sometimes you just have to pause a minute and enjoy what Mother Nature provides. When the sun hits her, this mare has just the prettiest eyes ever!

Send her some good vibes her way, please. She just went home today after her date with Redacted. Everything wasn't quite textbook with her, so she could use a little good luck. 🤞

Breeding season has been in full swing here lately. Somehow we have managed to get mares in & out just in time for the next one to take up a temporary residence. We are happy to say that so far, 100% of mares bred have safely checked in foal! And all but one was on the first cycle too. The only one that needed a rebreed was a mare that needed Regumate (hormone) supplementation. She took the first try, but lost it so we rebred, added Regumate and she's now safe in foal.

The recent shipments that have went out have all been timed well, so we feel good about those, and the mares that just left or just finished breeding we feel good about too, so with that being said, we do have a few stalls opening up for anyone who's looking for a later-season baby.

Both our boys are collecting & cooling great and are available for shipped or on-farm breeding. Give us a shout if you still want a date for your mare!

And thank you to those who've trusted us thus far with your ladies; we've seen some nice ones come through here! 😍
