Today’s 🕸️spooky post🕷️
is an animal I’m sure many of you didn’t know we had. This our female P. metallica that we keep in the back as an office pet.
Here you can see her laying down a little “web netting”. The two main reasons for this is so that should the prey accidentally escape it won’t be able to easily flee. The second being to feel vibrations easier so that they can keep an eye out for predators while they eat.

We’re getting ready for Halloween here so get ready for some 👻spooky posts☠️

Please meet Jack, a female pied ball python. We named her Jack after the jack-o’-lantern pattern (as seen on slide two). She was rescued by a local animal shelter and surrendered to us extremely underweight and with tons of stuck shed. But after a lot of TLC we happy to announce that she’s now ready for her new forever home!! Yay Jack!

If you’re interested in her come down to the shop and meet her!

Sometimes the lizards forget what species they are. Here we have one of our little frilled dragons pretending to be a doggy 🐶

Some of our little boas didn’t get the memo that it isn’t Halloween quite yet. But they were too cute to not show off their little “ghost” costumes!

These two female super fire boas are available in store! Come take a look, and maybe get a new addition in time for the holidays 👻 🎃

Lunch time for the baby Australian Frilled Dragons! It’s always so funny watching them eat because these guys are always guilty of chewing with their mouth open… but we can overlook it because they’re so cute 🥰!

Come watch one of our baby box turtles clean itself off after a busy day of hunting crickets! 🦗🐢

It’s always so cute to watch them nose dive the water and then kick their little feet to get every nook and cranny dirt free! Then at the very end shoot some water out!

Meet the tortoise of many names (just about every staff member has given her a different nickname)! She’s a 5 year old Hermann’s tortoise, and she’s about to be a mommy!

She’s also looking for a loving home with a nice big backyard! She’s well mannered and loves to eat. She’d be a great addition to any house!

You can swing by the shop and ask staff about her if you’re interested in adopting her!
