On this day in 2018 we hatched our very first snake! A little Mojave spider girl, just like her mother Midna. Her father, Martouf, is the snake I've currently have had the longest and he was my first python.

While I would no longer purposely pair a ball python with a known wobble gene such as spider, it just goes to show how much we've grown.

Soon our dwarf and super dwarf cross retics will be ready to start breeding, a whole new adventure with them will start and we will have babies available to the public again!

Interacting with snakes in the wild has always been one of my favorite things and this lovely water snake was no exception. After taking the opportunity to educate several curious beach goers we released this beauty back into the lake they came from.
