Wishing we were at Worlds 💃🏼🏆 Hopefully next year we can make it happen. For now, Maverick is learning new things at home and working on his winter woolies! Set him up for a quick halter practice today and he didn’t miss a beat. In fact, he showed better than before! And, he’s staying tiny!! Coming 2 year old and still under 30” and wearing an XS halter! A familiar face is back in the barn! Hershey is here for driving bootcamp! Can’t wait to get this boy in the cart for his mom! Goodbye ammy card 🥲 but, my goal in life is to become a known trainer in the mini industry, and I can’t say no to the opportunities knocking on my door. Hopefully we keep climbing from here ❤️ I will be posting his progress as he learns!

I can’t believe the last show of the season is tomorrow! I’ll be counting down til the next season starts! I’m excited to take my Star to her first show. She acts like she’s been a show horse her whole life with how well she’s taken all the prep! It’s bittersweet, I have her in my first Star’s hi-point sheet. ❤️ (ignore the stain, I’ve yet to have been able to get it off the white letters 🥲) Janet Hodgins Lewis

Well everyone, now that I’m done crying happy tears… meet my new edition. A dream I have dreamt from the first day I ever laid eyes on her as a weanling. Meet “Standing Ovation Apache Star.” 2022 PATN/PATN n/LP mare. We are headed home, more pictures to come! I still can’t believe this and I cannot express how unbelievably thankful I am for the opportunities Janet and Tony have given me, and for future opportunities that are yet to come. You two have been such an incredible blessing in my journey with these little spotted horses. I’m so blessed to call you guys friends and heck, family. I can’t wait to keep making you proud. (Black mare is my aunt and uncles newest edition, Standing Ovation Special FX. A full sister to my Star. And she’s A PATN/PATN that carries splash!)

Working with Maverick at liberty to hopefully get him showing in it next year!! Trying to get him to retain a good steady woah, and then come into me with a whistle. So far so good! Now whether this translates to the show pen next year… that’s another story 😅😅
