Every cat or kitten adoption just got a little sweeter! 🐱🎁

Look how adorable these special gift bags are that were lovingly made just for our shelter cats and kittens as they head to their new homes. Each bag is filled with yummy little goodies to help celebrate their adoption day!

A huge thank you to Brenda Sheffield who helped make moments like these possible. It’s the little touches that make a big difference and give our adopters—and our furry friends—a wonderful send-off.

It’s hard to believe no one has chosen these precious little ones yet. 💔 They’re growing up in a shelter instead of a loving home.

A huge shoutout to Officer Gibson with the Monroeville Police Department!

When he found this sweet girl abandoned on a dirt road, he didn’t hesitate to get her to safety. ❤️

Meet Pixar! She is just under a year old and, despite everything she’s been through, she’s a sweet, resilient girl.

Pixar appears to have an old embedded collar injury around her neck that will need medical attention and time to heal. We are currently searching for a rescue partner willing to help give her the care and fresh start she deserves.

Thank you, Officer Gibson, for stepping up and making sure this beautiful girl had a chance. Stories like this remind us how much of a difference one person can make.

🚨 TNR Day is Coming Up! 🚨

We have a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) clinic scheduled for one Friday in August! This appointment is for feral/community cats only.

Requirements:
🐈 Cats must be in a live trap (no carriers)
✂️ Cats will receive an ear tip to identify them as sterilized
⚖️ Cats must weigh at least 3 pounds (approximately 3 months old)
💲 Cost is $35 per cat

TNR is one of the best ways to help reduce the number of unwanted kittens while improving the health of our community cat population.

If you’re interested in having one or more community cats spayed or neutered, comment below or send us a message with how many cats you’d like to bring. Spaces are limited, so we’ll start making our list soon!

Is there anyone with extra fans they could possibly donate to the shelter?

Our AC unit is on the fritz. The AC people came out and patched it earlier, but the patch didn’t hold. The crew is having to shut the unit down and we desperately need fans for the inside. All of our other fans are currently keeping the dogs outside cool.

If anyone could donate us a couple of them, we’d be very grateful.
