They are approximately 3 months old and currently weigh 12–15 pounds. All puppies have been vaccinated and dewormed.

These sweet pups are looking for a rescue placement before they grow larger and become even more difficult to place. They deserve the chance to find safety, stability, and loving homes.

Puppy Details:
• Shepherd mix
• Approximately 3 months old
• 12–15 lbs each
• Vaccinated
• Dewormed
• Friendly and ready for rescue placement

If your rescue organization can help, or if you know of a rescue that may be interested in pulling them, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please share to help these puppies find a rescue and a brighter future. 🐾❤️

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! Every lucky dog who gets chosen for transport travels in a crate like this, and every crate needs to be assembled before transport day. It's a super-easy job but a very important one and you can help! We use zip-ties so assembly is easy-peasy. Can you help? We need volunteers on any of these days: Saturday (tomorrow, June 6th), Tuesday (06/9), Wednesday (06/10) or Thursday (06/11). Hours are posted on our main page so if you'd like to volunteer, just show up and we'll put you to work! Bring a friend and the time will fly by. Transport is Friday but if you'll SHARE this post, we'll for sure have all kennels assembled and ready to go for takeoff!!

For those of you who stopped by the Sons of Armageddon event this past weekend, you probably met our sweet girl, Raven! ❤️

We had a truly special visitor stop by to see her—Officer Wiggins, one of the officers who helped rescue Raven nearly a year ago.

Raven came to the shelter after suffering severe abuse at the hands of her owner. She arrived with major swelling on the right side of her head after being stomped. She was rushed to the veterinarian, where she was immediately started on pain medication and treatment to reduce the swelling.

Unfortunately, the damage was too severe, and Raven ultimately had to have her eye removed.

Despite everything she has endured, Raven has remained a loving, happy dog who still believes in people.

Over the past year, she has faced even more challenges, including heartworm treatment. A special thank you to Big Dog Rescue for helping make that treatment possible.

Now, as we approach the one-year anniversary of her arrival at the shelter, we would love nothing more than to find Raven the loving home she deserves.

🐾 2 years old
🐾 53 lbs
🐾 Spayed female
🐾 Kennel trained
🐾 Loves toys
🐾 Loves car rides
🐾 Good with other dogs
🐾 Enjoys playing with her yard friends
🐾 Walks well on a leash, though she can pull when excited

Raven does have a dominant personality, so she would do best in a home without another dominant dog.

This beautiful girl has survived more than any dog should ever have to endure. Now she just needs a family willing to give her the love, safety, and happiness she has always deserved.

If you think Raven might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact the Monroe County Animal Shelter to learn more about adopting her. ❤️🐾

Wow! What can we say? Yesterday was absolutely amazing!

We had a wonderful day meeting so many great people and sharing our mission with the community. Seven of our amazing shelter dogs got the opportunity to get out, meet the public, and soak up lots of attention and love!

A huge thank you to the Sons of Armageddon CrossRoad Chapter for all the hard work, planning, and dedication that went into making this event such a success. The food was fantastic, the auction was a blast, and there were plenty of laughs shared throughout the day.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, attended, rode in support, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. Most of all, we want to thank the Sons of Armageddon for choosing to support the animals of Monroe County Animal Shelter.

Your generosity and kindness make a real difference in the lives of the dogs and cats in our care.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you! ❤️🐾
