250 years! Hau'oli La Hanau America! Got the yard ready for the celebration this year — flag's up, and I'm feeling it more than usual.
I keep thinking back to the pride and unity we all felt after 9/11 — how being American meant something we all felt together. I think we need that spirit again, now more than ever.
Grateful today for my own family who's worn the uniform, for the friends who've done the same, and for those whose kids are serving now too. This one's for you as much as anyone. Thank you for everything you've given so this country could still be here to turn 250.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
