💔🐾 SO MANY LITTLE FACES...SO MANY WAITING FOR THEIR TURN. 🐾💔

We're sharing these pictures again because we STILL have so many kittens waiting for homes... And some of our sweet adult cats have been waiting far too long.

Some faces may look familiar, while others are new. But behind every picture there is a cat who deserves a family of their own, a cozy place to curl up, and someone who thinks that they're the most special cat in the world

50 plus kittens are ready for adoption, and 45 more are still in foster care waiting to come in. Some have been waiting patiently for someone to look their way and discover just how much love they have to give.

💕 Their forever families can't find them if they never see them!

So let's get these whiskered faces in front of as many people as possible!

SHE WASN'T MEAN. SHE WAS TERRIFIED. 💔

When Edie first came to us, going into her cage was something you approached with caution. You couldn't enter without the fear of getting swatted. She would hiss, cower in the corner, and make it very clear she didn't want you near her.

To someone looking in, she might have seemed aggressive. Difficult. Maybe even unadoptable 🥺

But what if we looked at her differently?

What if, instead of seeing a cat who wanted to hurt us, we saw a cat who was so frightened that she didn't know any other way to protect herself?

Eadie wasn't trying to be mean. She was scared. And the only way she knew how to say "Please don't hurt me" Was to keep everyone away.

Her siblings found homes, but Edie stayed. For over a year, she needed patience, understanding, and people willing to let her move at her own pace.

And that special person Penny did. She made it her mission. Day after day she showed up for her. She worked with her, earned her trust little by little, and celebrated the tiny victories that others might have never noticed. Penny knew and didn't expect her to change overnight. So she simply kept showing her that she was safe.

And little by little, something beautiful happened.

They cat who once cowered in the corner began to come out. The cat who didn't want anyone near her began accepting affection. The cat who once made us afraid to enter her cage now lies in our laps and rolls around asking for pets.

She didn't need us to change who she was. She needed us to help her discover that she was safe.

A year ago, we were afraid to reach for Edie. Today, she reaches for us. The swats are gone. (For the most part 😼). The hissing has faded. And the little cat who once cowered in the corner now rolls into laps asking for love .
