With tensions high coming up to convention I want to remind everyone where we all came from and how far each and every one of us holland breeders have come. There is no such thing as the best breeder or person it doesn’t exist. We all learned from others our own mistakes trial and error. However we have forgotten the stepping stones that got us to where we are individually today. I got started with hollands from my good friend Cindy Slater-Rogers she sold me JoJo (brood doe pictured below). I had zero idea what I was doing and she taught me so much and we are great friends still to this day. I learned and I evolved my herd from there with other fantastic breeders Bethany Thompson-Keith (3’Bs Rabbitry) & LaTaya May (I’m so fancy) and old fashion advice and support from Becky. So many more breeders have helped me along the way there is a lot to mention. However all this to say I am so thankful for this holland community and everyone helping everyone in any way they can. Yes this is a competition but to see your friends win with beautiful rabbits and even though you lost acknowledging you lost to a fantastic rabbit and coming together to celebrate is something else. It takes a village to build amazing rabbits and I hope we all continue to support each other instead of tearing each other down. Keep smiling keep showing and keep showing up for your fellow holland breeders. We are bunny family! Good luck everyone at convention I will miss seeing you all!

When you save a baby and then they look like this. Mom has a dead litter two days later I found her almost frozen barely crawling on cage floor. Warmed her up and this is her today.
