Wookie came to our shelter after showing up at a local feral colony. He was SO friendly that we can only assume he was dumped. Wookie loves people and gets along with other cats.

Wookie is about 2-3 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped, feline leukemia/FIV negative, and is current on flea/tick preventative.

Interested in meeting Wookie? Please complete an adoption application at: www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org

Help Wanted!

07/28/2025

It’s Caturday and HHR lifer Leon is sad because we’re down to just 6-7 cases of Friskies—barely enough to get us through the next 4 days. With so many mouths to feed, we go through food fast, and our shelves are looking way too bare.

If you’re able to help, please consider donating through our Amazon wishlist or by other means. Every can makes a difference.

Let’s restock and keep our kitties full and happy—thank you for always showing up for them.
