When training with your dog it’s very important to end on a high note
If working on a new command and your dog or you are not getting it
Just stop
Your dog will feel the frustration
End on a command you know they know,
Then you end both of you on a happy note and nobody’s feeling frustrated

Meet Stew
If you are in my area you may have remembered hearing about a dog that was found on 275 and picked up
A family adopted him as soon as his stray hold was up and did they get the Goodest boy ever
He just lumbers around and he has had some training in his past, I’m just helping the new owners discover what he knows.
Please don’t mind the badly placed prong it turned around and was only being used to stop him from going to the wrong location during his session

There are so many scams out there
While I hate sharing this and putting them on blast I want to share that this is a huge reason I charge per visit and not a lump sum.
I want you to be able to afford training. I also know things come up like kids events, sickness, and life. so it would be harder to keep track at least for me on sessions and what was owed to who. I’m honest to a fault and only charge for the service for the day to see you and your dog

If you know anyone who has been targeted by this training company have them reach out.
While I cannot offer free training I can offer trust and my years of training and one affordable payment at a time

Customers across Southeast Michigan say they were left out thousands of dollars after paying for dog training services they claim were never provided by Great Lakes Dog Training.
