Another full stripping dog - for those unfamiliar, it's manually removing the old hair by gently plucking it out instead of cutting it to allow the new coat to grow in more vibrantly. This is by far the biggest we**ie dog we've ever seen, even weighed him to check and he was 32 lb. He turned out a very nice!

A few random dogs over the past month, toy poodles very first time, long time doodle that his owner's kid loves the hulk so we did a green little mohawk, and Stella, a. Long-haired shih Tzu who's been seeing us for years.

Every westie we've ever done has been 6 years old and up - was under the impression they were kind of like dwarves and just sprung from the ground at old age 😅. Even after all these years, it's fun to still be surprised with a westie puppy. He was a cute little thing!

A long-time client and friend had this little cute thing wander up to her house and wouldn't leave. She's trying to find it a home and guestimates based on its features that it's likely to be a small to medium dog. She thinks it could be a shih Tzu mix. If anyone is interested, please message or comment or shoot us a text at 318-417-5060 and we'll relay your information to her. She's located in the north of Monroe area.

It's definitely been a while since we've posted anything, if it tells you anything it should tell you that we've been busy!

After running some numbers earlier, we discovered that as of yesterday evening we've done a total of 9,447 grooms with 2,604 being individual dogs! Definitely doesn't feel like it. We were thinking of doing something special for the 10,000th groom, which will likely be in late January. While running the report also got a breakdown of breeds of dogs and just thought some of you would find it interesting. We'll definitely post more pictures soon, just been too busy and tired at the end of the day to even think about it 🤣

Here's the top 10 breeds we've done and the number of different dogs, not counting repeat visits. Just found it to be interesting and thought some of you would as well!

Shih tzu 312
Yorkie 257
Schnauzer 230

Giant Snoodle (Giant Schnauzer/Poodle). We've done plenty of small ones but this pretty baby is a first!

And it's always nice to hear a client from long ago exclaim "I found him!" when looking for a new groomer 🤣
