Star, one of Bella’s puppies, has found a wonderful home! We’re so happy for her and her new family. She’s already met some people, and they’ve been impressed with how friendly and smart she is. Ginger is still waiting to find her forever home! She’s a 5-year-old Red Heeler who came to us from Animal Control after being found as a stray. This beautiful girl loves attention and would thrive on a farm or in a country home. She’d make a wonderful companion for the right person, though she can be selective about her dog friends. Ginger is fully up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, treated for fleas and ticks, and has tested negative for heartworm. Now accepting applications for the position of Chief Cuddle Officer: Casper is a 4–5-month-old male Lab with charm levels off the charts. This bright, bouncy furball has already mastered “sit” and “shake,” and is prepared to negotiate for treats. He is scheduled for his “all-inclusive spa day” on September 9th, which includes neuter, microchip, and vaccine updates. After that, he’ll be all set to move into his forever home with tail-wagging excitement. Five of Bella’s unbearably cute puppies are on a mission: to find their forever couches—uh, homes! At 8 weeks old, they’re primed for adventure, tail wags, and stealing socks. These clever, cuddly charmers come fully vaccinated, dewormed, and armed with flea-and-tick force fields. They are being trained to sit, and stay down, litter trained and working on yard training. They are wonderfully affectionate! The rescue will pick up the tab for spaying/neutering and microchipping when they’re old enough, so all you have to worry about is resisting those puppy-dog eyes (good luck). Meet Phoebe, an adorable one-year-old Dachshund mix who came to us from Animal Control. She’s super sweet, loves attention, gets along great with other dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind cats. Phoebe still has lots of puppy energy and isn’t yet potty trained. She weighs just 20 lbs. and is up to date on vaccinations, treated for fleas and ticks, and tested negative for heartworm. She’s scheduled for her spay and microchip on Tuesday, after which she’ll be available for adoption. Marmon Renew celebrated their Spirit Day today, with volunteers out in the community making a real difference. We have plenty of adorable kittens and cats looking for loving homes! These are just a few of the sweet kittens ready for adoption. By adopting one or two, you’re not only giving a pet a safe and happy home but also helping us make space to rescue more animals in need. This is Miley, a 1-year-old female Terrier mix weighing 25 pounds, who was found with a gunshot wound in her front leg and shrapnel in her back. Becca from Warren County Animal Control stepped in and took her to a vet. Miley had to have her leg amputated but has recovered amazingly well. Becca has been fostering her during her recovery and says she is also doing great with her potty training! Miley still needs to be spayed and microchipped in a few weeks which will be covered by the rescue. She is a wonderful dog that is super sweet and just wants to be on your lap.
