We are urgently seeking a foster home for Coco, a male toy poodle who is diabetic and requires two daily insulin injections, along with strict adherence to a specialized diet. Coco needs a compassionate and attentive foster environment to support his health and well-being as he searches for his forever home. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and has limited exposure to other dogs or cats, which, coupled with his naturally nervous disposition, will require patient and understanding care. WIAR will cover all associated expenses, including insulin, food, supplies, and veterinary visits. Miss Lia is a 4-year-old Catahoula/Pit mix with a gentle and affectionate nature. Initially reserved, she warms up beautifully once she becomes familiar with her surroundings and the people in her life, revealing a loving and attentive personality. She loves soaking up affection, making her perfect for a home where she can be the center of attention. Lia would do best in a home without smaller dogs. Lia is a medium-sized dog weighing about 40 lbs. She’s up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and treated for fleas and ticks. Meet little Teddy, a charming 7-year-old Pekingese/Chihuahua mix male who recently joined us after his previous owners had to move out of the country. He weighs just 15 pounds and has a big personality despite his small size. While he’s not the biggest fan of other dogs or cats, Teddy is sure to capture the heart of the right person. Meet gorgeous Athena, a beautiful blue eyed female Husky estimated to be around 2 years old. She came to us from Bureau County Animal Control and has been a bundle of joy ever since. Athena is an incredibly friendly dog who loves everyone she meets and can’t get enough of belly rubs. She appears to get along well with other dogs, though we’re not sure how she feels about cats yet. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She’s also been dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, and tested negative for heartworm.
