The details on this piece are incredible.

From the concept itself to the linework to the printing process…this was never meant to be just another fundraiser item.

It was meant to become something collectible.

We cannot wait to unveil the full artwork at the AGM.

There is also a hidden “50” worked into the artwork as a small tribute to the club’s anniversary.

We’ll see who spots it first.

I saw this floating around and just wanted to point out a couple of things.

First, our breed standard does NOT call for a physical difference between males and females. There are many doggy bi***es out there and many slight and fine males. Both fit the standard. Now...a person or judge may have a preference...but the standard does not.

Second, they are comparing a rough coat to a smooth coat in the images. They will look a bit different at a glance, especially if the rough is ungroomed. The dog they claim as a female could easily be a male and there would be nothing wrong.

There is nothing at all mentioned in the standard specifically for a male or a female. Not a single thing.

If you want to take a moment an see what our standard actually says, you can find it here...

As we celebrate 50 years of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America, here’s something you might not know…

Terriers must be at least one year old before they can be registered. This allows the dog to mature so its size, structure, and overall suitability can be properly evaluated.

This is what 50 years of preserving a working terrier looks like.

As we celebrate 50 years of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America, here’s something you might not know…

Jack Russell Terriers are quick learners. This means they can pick up both good habits and unwanted behaviors just as easily.

There will only ever be 50 of these prints made.

Not because we wanted to create hype.

But because this anniversary matters.

Fifty years of people protecting the working terrier.
Fifty years of preserving type, instinct, structure, and purpose.
Fifty years of people who refused to let the Jack Russell Terrier become just another generic show dog.

This print was commissioned to honor that history.

More sneak peeks coming soon.

As we celebrate 50 years of the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America, here’s something you might not know…

Digging is a natural behavior in a working terrier. It is part of what they were bred to do. Providing appropriate outlets can help manage this instinct.

This is what 50 years of preserving a working terrier looks like.
