Nandor says “What? We’re gonna be closed? Listen up!”

Important information regarding the upcoming week!

Dr. Wessels is going to be out of the office starting Saturday May 2nd. She will return Monday May 11th. Our upcoming schedule will be as follows!

- Saturday May 2nd – CLOSED
- Monday May 4th – NO doctor, we will be in the office 8am to 12pm to answer phones and refill prescriptions.
- Tuesday May 5th – NO doctor, we will be in the office 8am to 12pm to answer phones and refill prescriptions
- Wednesday May 6th – Dr. Andrea Iorgovan will be here as a relief vet from 9am to 4pm.
- Thursday May 7th – Dr. Andrea Iorgovan will be here as a relief vet from 9am to 4pm.
- Friday May 8th – NO doctor, we will be in the office 8am to 12pm to answer phones and refill prescriptions.
- Saturday May 9th – CLOSED

Please keep in mind that while Dr. Wessels is out we cannot refill any controlled substances. Other meds we can refill, but if your pet is on Alprazolam, Hydrocodone, Tramadol, etc - you need to get your refills in BEFORE Saturday the 2nd or you will not be able to get your meds until she returns on the 11th.

If you have an emergency, we are referring to the following two hospitals;

Dr. Wessels is going to be out of the office from 5/2/26 until 5/11/26. We will NOT be able to fill any controlled substances while she is not in the office.

If you have a pet who is on any of those drugs, please check your supply and if you need a refill call us ASAP to avoid running out.

If you wait until next week, we will not be able to fill anything - no exceptions. Thank you!

We will not have a doctor tomorrow, Wednesday and possibly Thursday. We will be closing at noon on those days.

Monee K9 officer Cap was in last week for his annual visit!

He is a perfect, healthy boy. A quick pup cup and he's ready to get back to work, helping keep Monee safe.

A big congrats to our recent title earners! Tori and Nandor got their Canine Good Citizenship and Gimli got his AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy! We are so proud of them, great job guys!

Upcoming training classes!

We cannot recommend training enough, it is a fantastic bonding experience for you and your dog. Exposure to new people, new places and new things is so important especially for puppies.

- Puppy training is where you will learn the fundamentals of obedience and develop that good foundation. Decide how far you want to go, the sky is the limit!
- Monday March 16th at 8:05pm
- Tuesday April 21st at 5:30pm

- Intermediate is the next step from Puppy/Beginner. You’ll really be perfecting the basics here, this is a class to take if you have already been through one before.
- Tuesday April 21st at 6:35pm

- Agility is a fun class where your dog will be learn to use the equipment and the basics of running a pattern. Weave poles, tunnels, see-saw, jumps and more!
- Tuesday April 21st at 7:40pm

All our obedience classes are one hour long and the full course is seven weeks. The cost is 175.00 for the full session. You can sign up and pay right on our website, https://animalwellnesscenterofmonee.com/dog-training/

Look what you can accomplish with training! We are so proud of Tori and Nandor!

The next puppy class is in the books, puppy is where you get your training foundation as well as crucial socialization and exposure. Plus a class full of puppies, is there anything better?

The next puppy class will begin on March 16th at 8:05pm. Each class is one hour long and the full course is 7 weeks. You can view classes, sign up and pay right on our website!
