Coming off a big week in Texas, Martin planned to bring Hot Guns N Candy back in the show pen nice and easy. "Jonah" didn't come to play with an effortless 73 in the Open on Wednesday earning the pair Reserve Champion and a nice check! Later in the week they brought home another check with their 3rd place finish in the Open with a 72.5. Owner Mack Elwood finally got his NRHA debut with his beloved new stud "Jonah". They put together a nice first run in Wednesday night's Rookie class finishing 4th in Rookie 1, 8th in Rookie 2, and 5th in the PT Rookie. Their ride Wednesday qualified them for TRFAM Semi Finals in Rookie 1 & 2! They wrapped up the rest of the week with several Top 10 placings in the Green and Non-Pro classes. Mack and "Jonah" completed their first NRHA show together with big goals and a bright future ahead! We are thrilled to see what this pair can accomplish this year and we are blessed to have the Elwoods join our barn family!

Stacy Roth-Mann has been putting in lots of hours at the barn with her horse "Jimmy" during the off season and it paid off! They kicked off the show with a bang earning the Champion title in the Rookie 2 and Primetime Rookie late Wednesday night! To top it off they scored a personal best of 71 and qualified for TRFAM Semi-Finals! They got 5th in the Novice Horse Non Pro L2 both Wednesday and Friday. They also finished 7th in the Limited NP and 5th in the Intermediate NP, Non Pro, and Primetime NP on Sunday! If qualifying the Rookie Semi-Finals wasn't exciting enough, Stacy and "Jimmy" also qualified for TRFAM Semi-Finals in the Non Pro! All this plus several more Top 10 Non Pro and Rookie runs! We are so proud of Stacy and all of the work and dedication she has put into showing her horses!

Nick Barraca and "Bucky" really clicked this weekend! After a few solid rides in the Rookie and the Non-Pro early in the week, the pair really locked in Friday night. Nick and "Bucky" earned themselves the Reserve Champion title in the Rookie 2 with a personal best score of 72! To top it all off they get to bring home a trophy for being the Limited Non Pro Champion on Sunday as well as finishing Reserve in the Intermediate Non Pro! It was a blast this weekend watching this pair put down some of their best patterns yet!

Lily Thomsen and "Monty" have big goals for this show season and this show is bringing them one step closer! Lily started the week with a 6th place finish in the Novice Horse Non Pro L2. They carried on to place Top 10 in the Rookie, Novice Horse Non Pro L2, Youth, and the Limited Non Pro throughout the week! They finished the week off with a beautiful pattern earning them a 70 and a 5th place finish in the Youth!

Kathy Babbs and her horse โCarlosโ did not take long to get comfortable on the leaderboard! By Thursday they were 4th in the Intermediate NP and 5th Limited NP and NP. They continued to finish 8th and 7th in the Novice Horse Non Pro L2 and L1. To finish the show off strong they placed 3rd in the Limited NP and 4th in the Intermediate NP and Non Pro with a beautiful pattern!

Elizabeth Canty and โStellaโ are right on track for success this show season with several good rides throughout the week! The pair earned themselves 6th in the Rookie and 4th in the Prime Time Rookie on Wednesday. Martin and โStellaโ went on to get 6th in the Novice Horse Open with a good and honest pattern. Liz finished her trip in a tough Rookie class with a 13th in the Rookie 2 and 7th in the Primetime!

Victoria Isherwood didnโt have the luxury of a lot of practice going into the horse show, but she stepped up and made every ride count. She went in with a great mindset, rode with confidence, and showed steady improvement each time she walked into the pen. Her and "Bingo" were Top 10 and Top 15 in the Rookie and Limited Non Pro classes throughout the week. To top it off her ride with "Nikki" punched them a ticket to TRFAM Rookie Semi-Finals! We are so proud of Victoria and we are excited to see what the future holds!

โCoconutโ stepped up for her owner Anwar Cantarero. To start, Anwar and โCoconutโ secured themselves a spot in TRFAM Rookie Semi-Finals with their ride on Friday! The pair carried on to finish 7th in the Green Rider, 9th in the Green 2, and 13th in the Green 1. Anwar has been putting in the work at home throughout the off season and we are starting to see it all come together!

โPearlโ and Martin had their eyes on the NRBC this week! With limited time between shows the pair utilized this time to mentally and physically prep for the shows ahead. Nonetheless, Martin and โPearlโ finished out 8th and 5th in the Open Wednesday and Friday. They additionally placed 9th in the L2 and L4 Derby on Saturday for owner Anwar Cantarero. Keep an eye out for these two at the NRBC Classic Prelims on April 17th!

Amitrea Del Rio and her horse โStarโ showed for the first time this weekend! Each run got better and better each time! It was a pleasure to watch them get more comfortable and confident as the week went on!

Assistant Madi Raiser and โAmigoโ took their first couple trips together in the show pen and had quiet and productive rides! The pair ended up Top 10 in the Rookie Pro! On Sunday Martin took โAmigoโ in the Novice Horse Open L2 and tied for first!
