We had a great time at the American Chesapeake Club Specialty in Paducah last week! Valor took 1st place in the Amateur stakes and Sandy took 2nd and Sandy got a JAM in the Open.

RECOVERY Is going well for our girl SPUNKY, who suffered an injury while training this week. A sharp object pierced her foot and split open the soft tissue behind the backside of her leg above the paw. An urgent care visit to Osseo Veterinary Clinic had her stitched up quickly. Thank you to Dr. Nathan Norby, and Dr. Meg Mueller
for addressing our situation, and making time for us in your busy schedules. We truly appreciate the kindness, and professionalism you showed us when we needed help most. So GRATEFUL to have veterinarians like you both, and for the WONDERFUL care you provided to our family member!!!!

Congratulations on Groove’s QA2 Title!
What a Great Season you have had!!

Well Miss Groove has done it again! We placed FIRST at the Chippewa Valley RC Qualifying today!! This makes her QA2!!! I have so many people to thank who have helped us on this journey… excellent pros (Grant Osteen and Jerry Petraitis) who have helped me become a better trainer/handler, my friends with the Randy/Mary Spangler amateur training group, and many other friends who listen to my cries and my celebrations as we progress through this journey! Amateur here come (in a year or two!😁)

Congratulations Team Blue! You’ve had a Great season!

Blue" with his 2nd and 3rd series ribbon of the HRC International Grand in St. Louis Mo. He picked up all his marks in all four series without any handles and finished his blinds in no more than 3 whistles. We were sitting on 2's but the in your face bird was a little to tempting and dropped him on the 4th series honor. After a little break and some hunting will be back at it for next year.

I would like to send out a huge congratulations to a great friend, wonderful person and her super cool girl! This past weekend they achieved an amazing title that takes a tremendous amount of time, effort and dedication. My heart is jumping for joy for these two!
Congratulations Kim and Blue, on your new MASTER HUNTER title!!! Couldn’t think of a more deserving team! Congratulations to breeder Karen Rude of Lakewood Labradors for producing such talented, all around lines.

**NAHRA Central Region Team of the Year!**

Teri really wanted to run NAHRA last weekend, so with very little training and Poppet recovering from an injury, we threw our chips in!
Nala and Poppet were 2 of the 8 that qualified for the honor of being named to the Central Region's Team of the Year! Better yet, two more siblings that entered passed also (Cash and Dio)! We had a great weekend with both dogs passing on Sunday as well! Teri and Nala are getting close to earning their Grand Master title! Thank you Four Points Retriever Club!

Congratulations Team Lindy!

Lindy ran a great trial at the Duluth Retriever Club this weekend getting her first all age placement in the Am. All 4 series were really challenging and I was so proud of her work!!!!
Thank you so much to our judges for giving up their weekend and to all of the workers who came out to support the Club.

We had a great weekend at the Blackhawk RC Qualifying. My good friend, mentor, and coach, Grant Osteen, took first place with Birdee, and Groove and I took 4th! It was a tough, fair and fun trial and thanks to the judges Christopher Van Eimeren and Bryan Lee, the Blackhawk RC and all the workers!
Also, a big thanks to Grant, who has helped me and Groove improve at this game!! If I don’t screw it up, this girl could have a bright FT future!
