It's the update we've all been waiting for - Hwy 85 is now OPEN!!!! While the detour is no more, they ARE still doing work so pay attention for flaggers and the possibility of one-lane at times.

TICKS!!!

All of them came off the same animal.

This is an example of why flea/tick preventatives are so important. It’s incredibly difficult to find these creepy crawlers on a thick-coated/dark coated/long haired dog or cat. And yes, even these teeny-tiny ticks can transmit illnesses such as Lyme, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis.

ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE!!

We'll see how long this map is considered "current" :)

FROM EAU CLAIRE:
Take Hwy 85 towards Durand. Turn LEFT on Fuller Ave (at the barricades). At the stop sign, turn LEFT to get back on to Hwy 85.

FROM DURAND:
Take Hwy85 towards Eau Claire. Turn RIGHT on to 90th Ave (turns into 910th St). At the stop sign, turn RIGHT to get back on to Hwy 85.

FROM MENOMONIE/ELK MOUND:
Y'all are lucky so far - no changes. Just take H to 85 and come say "hi".

We apologize for any inconvenience during road construction season... don't worry though, soon it will be winter again and construction season will end.
