Hey neighbors! 💙

I haven’t shared an update about my services on here in a long time, so I wanted to re-introduce myself to y’all! I’m hoping to get more pet sitting opportunities this year, as I will be officiating my best friend’s wedding up in New York this fall, and have to save up a lot for related expenses!

Some updates since December 2024…

I now do lots of community organizing work locally and love what I do so much. 💙 I’m the founding Vice President of PFLAG Charleston, and I work with We Are Family as a Youth Ambassador, as well as serving as their Discord moderator and committee member for the Trans Love Fund! I’m still coaching, and as of this year received my certificate from The Institute for Coaching Mastery for Gold Practitioner Status as a Mastery Method Coach, after two years of study! And in my free time I’m a Main Moderator for the Avatararcticlife Clan, an online community of 1.1K members for fans of James Cameron’s Avatar movies. I’m a very passionate person all around, and would love the opportunity to bring that care and attention to your pets! 💙

Hello neighbors, and welcome to our page! My name is Indie (they/them), and I just moved to Foxbank Plantation in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. I’m from Northern New Jersey, where I ran a pet sitting business. It’s been my main source of income while I attend The Institute for Coaching Mastery as a student, and begin my career journey as a Life Coach and get that business off the ground! I’m about to invest in a second year of my coaching certification program, and am left to start all over again with my pet sitting business since I moved. So I would truly appreciate your support of my small business if you’re in need of a pet sitter! I offer overnight care at the owner’s residence, drop-in visits, and boarding in my home for small animals.

I served 20+ pet sitting clients back in New Jersey, and have so much love for those animals and clients I had to leave behind. I love and have experience with all animals big and small. I volunteered with a dog rescue and a wildlife sanctuary, and have also worked as a veterinary technician assistant in both emergency and standard practice veterinary medicine. I even ran a small animal rescue out of my home while I was in high school! I’ve also been a vegan for almost 10 years, and am a pet parent to two cats, a dog, a chinchilla, a bearded dragon, and a cockroach colony I breed as feeders for my bearded dragon! I have a wide range of expertise and an abundance of passion for animal care.

I’ve included a number of photos of myself and the animals I have worked with! Every photo is either of me, or taken by me. I know it takes a lot of trust to leave our babies to be cared for by someone else, and I promise to care for them as if they were my own.
