More coat + more time + more stress = a completely different appointment. ⏰

Hello Parlor People! I wanted to personally take the time to clear up a few FALSE accusations recently that have occurred.
Yesterday a long time client went on social media to falsely claim that her dogs had gotten Kennel Cough from our facility.
This is simply not true and can not be verified that it was in fact our facility to blame.
We have not ever in our 5.5 years of Business had any issues with this commonly spread virus among dogs.
Nor does her timeline match up with her accusatory approach that we didn’t answer her messages or calls to this situation. She had went to social media before even speaking with myself to blame us for something that could have been contracted from other situations. Her reasoning was that her vet confirmed it and because her dogs go “no where else”.
She barely gave me a chance to react to the situation which resulted in unnecessary drama.

I can assure you that on October 1st and 2nd her dogs were in our shop and showed absolutely no signs or symptoms, nor did any other dog in that timeframe of being infected with Kennel Cough. Had we seen or suspected it could be a problem they would have been turned away and asked to see their veterinarian before rescheduling.
Nor have we had any other reports from clients about their pets showing symptoms.
Our cleaning protocol covers everything on a DAILY basis to ensure the safety of our pets.

There were comments of me being unprofessional for defending my business, myself and my staff.
Unprofessional or not I will stand up and stand by my actions!
I decided to post proof of the conversation had with this individual. To show that communication was had. She initially reached out a week after her appointment and was told we had not had any issues with kennel cough. Told she should go to the vet anyway, out of concern for her dogs!
Also where she says she called several times… We are CLOSED Sundays and Mondays and her last text to confirm her dogs in fact had kennel cough was Monday evening through personal text to my manager.
Tuesday morning she reached out through messenger at 10:35 am. I called her as soon as I got to the shop a little after 11am she did not answer stating later she was on the phone with her Veterinarian. Then decided to hang up the phone and post on social media instead of calling me back.
I am a very transparent person and will never try to hide a problem should there be one! I care for your pets well being as if they were my own.
Which is why I am letting everyone know about the situation at hand.
I feel you all deserve to rest assured that our facility is safe and we have not had any issues whatsoever with kennel cough being a known problem.
We also have written in our policies that our clients sign, it states that the Bordetella vaccine is recommended! Anytime dogs are amongst other dogs it is always possible of spreading unwanted diseases. No matter how much we try and prevent it.
If ever you suspect your pets are sick or injured. Please let us know and keep them home. We will continue to provide the best care for your pets and always look out for their best interests while they are in our care.
I want to thank everyone who came to our defense and for your support! We truly appreciate each and every one of you!
