Quad City PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) is a private non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to support the needs of the animals of the Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter. These goals were established by the Rock Island County Animal Care and Control Board of Directors and Rock Island County. Our Mission:
To protect the welfare, health and safety of pets and people and promote

responsible pet ownership. Our Philosophy:

To be progressive in the animal welfare field by providing quality care to the animals; an aggressive spay and neuter program; and striving for placement of all adoptable pets where euthanasia is performed as a last resort. Our Position:

Cats/kittens- $60
Dogs- $100
Puppies 8 weeks - 6 months - $250
Puppies 7 months - 1 year - $150

Yenifer is back at the shelter due to no fault of her own. This girl’s owner decided to surrender her during a hard time in life.. Yenifer had been at the shelter before, but she is a little stressed not understanding why she is back.
Come see her out in the yard, she is stressed so unsure if other dogs or cats and older kids would be best. ~Shari

OMGOSH what a fun and cute boy. ❤️

Rufus is around 1 1/2 years old and came in as a stray. He might be OK with another dog pending a meet and greet. Unsure of cats and kids.

This boy is fun and still has some puppy energy. With consistency, patience and love he will be the bestest best friend!

SWEET AND FUN HEARTED TOBY🩵

Poor Toby, this boy gets over looked because of his eyes. Yes, he is different looking, but this boy has a heart of gold. AND he is at the shelter due to no fault of his own, his people moved and he found himself at the shelter. 🥺😢

Toby has some energy, but is a fun and lovey boy that deserves a chance!!

If you want sweet, silly and goofy with a big heart, this is your guy. I mean look at that little tail nub wagging🥰

Toby is almost 3 1/2 years old and a Catahoula blend. These are loyal dogs that need exercise, so a fenced in yard is helpful. He might be ok with another dog, pending a meet and greet and he might chase a cat. Older kids might be best because if his energy.
