We’re always happy to see baby barn swallows, but not thrilled about the “droppings” under their nest. This year, they set up shop directly above where we groom and saddle our horses. My innovative team mates solved the problem!

Meet Nelly (chocolate lab) and Rory (black lab.) They’ve been staying at the farm for the past year, and are looking for a new home! Their owners are expecting a baby soon and aren’t able to spend as much time with them as they’d like. They’re AKC registered two year old females but not related. They stay in the barn at night and when we have guests or clients here. They need lots of time and space to run and play. We would love to see them go to one family since they have been together since they were puppies.

Hannah’s Hope summertime sessions have begun again this week and we had a great time together!

One kiddo shared, “I’ve got a lot with the talent show next week and summer school. It’s a lot to manage.”

All participants said they felt more calm and relaxed at the end of the session.

Our horses (especially the minis) love connecting with children. They offer a reprieve from stress, a chance to be in the moment, feel peaceful and lighter.
