White-Gates Farm Equine Rescue Our goal is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned and neglected horses, to regain their trust, and find them safe, loving, permanent adoptive homes.

To provide a sanctuary where some may live out the remainder of their lives with dignity and peace. We, White Gates Farm Equine Rescue, are registered with the state of Alabama as a domestic nonprofit organization and with the IRS as a 501c3 Corporation making your donation, charitable and a tax deduction. Blessed with the land my grandparents blood, sweat and tears went in, we work closely with our local shelters and neighboring Rescue’s, trying to save as many horses and farm animals as possible. While we have the space to shelter a few, we can not continue to feed them without your help. Horses arrive here abandoned, abused, emaciated, neglected hooves, hurt and very scared. Our main goal, here at White Gates Farm, is to show them love, feed, care and compassion during their stay on our farm while finding them all permanent and forever homes. Your donations are what make it possible to buy hay/feed, rehabilitate, transport and vet/farrier bills. Please contact us to donate, sponsor, lease, volunteer or to help in any way.

So thankful this morning. All the animals are fine! We had a lot of debris everywhere but only minimal damage to one of the round pens, the roof peeled back on the saw mill and a tree uprooted. Which by the grace of God, didn’t fall toward the goat pen or the barn and was caught by another tree. The challenge will be taking it on down. But we are all safe~still without power~but all safe!

We are as secure as we can be~lost power about 30 minutes ago and have several limbs down already. Most of the horses are acting frisky in the wind and the other farm animals are snuggled in each of their own pens, cages and coop. I am praying a hedge of protection around this farm and over all our animals, our community and everyone in the path of Isaias! 🙏
